just found this thread, great stuff!

does anyone know if the Ideal syringes linked early in the thread have equivalent diameters? 10 ml = 20 ml ID/OD?

I have a 5 ml syringe that seems to be a better 'look' for my echos and rivas, diameter wise, but the plugs are terrible. I also have 3/10/20 ml syringes with massive plugs (medical syringes) but they have a much larger diameter. Made one last night, but I'm vain and want a smaller caliber tube ;)

I quit making syringe tanks and started making tanks out of 6ml plastic bottles. Attached is a pic of one mounted on my KGO battery -

and here's the video if you want to make your own -

nice that sounds very cool. I know little to nothing about 510s. As far as they go I have a 510 slim manual which I only use for dangerous experiments and dry burning, and a Riva 510 which I love

is that batt in your pic an ego W?

Ego t, c w, wth man lol I don't know what ANY of it means (well now I know W, thank you :) )

The battery is an ego knock-off, though who makes it I'm not sure. It's a 900mah variable volt battery with ego threads. That's the main thing. An eGo (or "compatible" knockoffs like mine) is a battery that has 510 threads for the electrical connection, and has threads on the outside edge that allow it to hold bigger diameter devices more securely. For example, my ego-w tank would not work with a 510 battery, as it only has the larger outer threads. But I can use all the small cartos and atomizers on my ego-knockoff that you use because it also has the 510 threads. Not sure if that makes sense or not.

T = Tank, W = .....I have no clue what it means, and I have one, but it's the clearomizer described earlier, and C = a rebuildable atomizer. The batteries are all the same type, but if you buy the T kit, or W kit, or C kit, you get the parts above with it. That's really the only difference. I personally haven't ever bought a kit. I just bought the piece parts myself and made my own kit :) My 900 mah regular-nothing-fancy-or-special batteries with a charger and a box of boge cartos are what broke me from smoking permanently. My 801 kit (Ok, I guess I bought one) didn't break the habit cause it was really more of a toy than a e-cig, as it wasn't dependable. So the acronyms don't mean a whole lot when it comes to batteries, just the the things that go on top. Once you get the concept of atomizer/cartridge, clearomizer, cartomizer, and tank for the toppers, and the different thread types available, the rest is easy ;)

some weird stuff

I'm getting a slow, but constant leak in my syringe tank with the CE2 in it

The leak is coming from between the outer CE2 casing and the inner diameter of the bottom grommet

The grommet was punched out with a normal sized carto, and as we know the Ce2 casing is a bit wider, not sure if that has something to do with it

Any thoughts?

I've never used one before, but my dad, who has vaped longer than I have, is currently using the J-Tank with boge cartos. He says the cartos are lasting twice as long in the J-Tank as they were by themselves. He's been using the same tank since January without having to replace any parts. No leaks. Perhaps the mass produced versions of the syringe tanks have finally gotten better than our "prototype"
