Hopefully an easy question

I'm wrapping some coils for a friend and was wondering what is the lowest resistance that a provari will fire? I don't own one but he does, and I just want to make sure that I don't make d.o.a. coils for him. Thanks for the help!!

I can't recall exactly, but I think below 1.2, you might be pretty limited by the protection circuit. I'm pretty sure you'll fire fine at that kind of level though. I'll poke around for the exact answer...

Here we go - you're limited to a 3.5 Amp draw.
So low voltage would be ok even below that 1.2 ohm coil...

I wrap 1.1 ohm coils for mine. Im vaping one now.

A 1.0 Ohm coil will not fire on any of my Provari's

Dont know if you do Micro coils or have any 28 Gauge wire, but I use a 5/64 drill bit and give a 7/6 (7 wraps on the top side) wrap Micro coil and that gives me a 1.1 ohm every time.

I'm currently vaping on a 1.2Ω coil (5/4 wrap of 30g Kanthal over doubled 2mm Silica) with my Mini set @ 3.4v.

I've got a 1.2ohm coil going right now as well, it will fire up to 4.2v, any higher and it will give an E2 error.
