Hot juice in my mouth!?!?!

Driving to work today, minding my own business.
There's a sputter and a drop of HOT juice lands on my tongue.
It hurt ya'll, and dang near scared the pants off me.
That is not okay. NOT okay!
Please tell me this is a uber rare occurrence and not something that's ever going to happen again.
Even if that's not true I still need to hear it.
Cause that was NOT okay.

Was a Volt x2 with a baby clearo. But that's neither here nor there. Reassure me! Oh. Unless you're going to tell me that I need to buy more stuff - I've been looking for an excuse ....

It does happen from time to time. I haven't had a hot sputter in ages though. I generally use rebuildable atomizers with stainless steel mesh though. When I was a heavy carto user it used to happen when I had over filled them. I also used to use a cartomizer on a Reo Mini. Bottom feeding cartomizers can be very tricky to get the proper hang of...

Anyways, for reassurance, I'd suggest blowing out through the bottom of the clearomizer to clean out any excess juice or condensation that happens to build up. I used CE2 style mods for a while and I found that they needed to be periodically blown through to keep the central air tube free of juice and condensation. Simply take a napkin or paper towel and blow the moisture out of it. Should help.

Don't worry its happen to me before and im sure pretty much everyone here at least once. If I remember last time it happened correctly, I believe I overfilled my carto and it was just the excess juice sputtering up.

It doesn't happen as much with the CE4 types clearo's or Nova's. Straight dripping it happens frequently. CE2's are bad for it too.

yeah, i get it alot too. When i drip 306atties they are so short i get it alot. no big, you get used to it.

I had the same thought But really, it doesn't happen often, and it's not going to blow up in your face, the PV that is....and why not buy more stuff?

same for me with 306 attys and my reo mini. i even had the extended 306er driptips but still got hot little sparkles in my mouth which does not really hurt but its annoying as .... because you know you just got pure liquid in your mouth. I never found a way to prevent that happen once in a while which is another great reason why i love my provari/tank setup so much. It never gets too hot and never puts juice in my mouth

I don't use LR attys or clearos so it never happens to me. I have gotten juice in mouth but is never "hot" only warm.

Happens to me often if I don't clean my drip tip (condensation builds inside of it and just ends up in a giant drop of hot liquid landing onto my tongue)
