Ok gotta change subject here so I got my new batts for my mini yesterday charge or.not to charge that's the question?

When I bought mine for the standard, both measured at 3.9v. So if they are charged I wouldn't worry about it unless you want/need to use them, but I would see how much juice they have first.

... And Zen~ recommends imr batts, PERIOD!

I believe for the mini he said any 18350 should work, but the standard was designed around the aw imr 18650. It's been a while since I read that post though so I could be mistaken.

yes. those are the batteries used on both devices.

I was assuming he meant AW IMR in both, but could be wrong.

He will have to have #4 or #5.

I am number 3! :)

Karmachine, add a real number to your sig. i is not a number and is offensive to our SG group!!! We want you to join, so pick a number :)

Okay then, I'll be number 7. I'll add to my sig when I am allowed to have a sig (few more posts to go). I got dibs on #7

I meant use AW IMR in both... That's why I said it!

The Trustfire will fit in the mini... Any 18350 will fit. But the AW performs better.

The ONLY battery that will fit in the standard is the IMR.

3.9 volts is not a charged battery and it should not be stored at that voltage.... It should be stored at 4.1-4.2 volts.

When you get your batteries, charge them.

Before I buy a Pila Charger and some AW 18650 2000mah batteries is there any particularly supplier that is better than another? I figured I would just order from SuperT, but if there is a smaller supplier that needs the order more or you guys prefer because they are zen-approved, by all means let me know!

There are lots of sites out there but SuperT is great and they aren't a mega-site by any stretch of the imagination :)

but for those of us who already have a genesis mod, we pretty much know what works for us...

Fair enough but Zen made 2 points:
1) Including both wicks give users the option of seeing which one works better with their various juices.
2) He purchased materials for a 50/50 scenario and never planned to have the pv's go out with custom accessory orders since that is more complicated and time consuming and might also cause him to run short on certain materials.

Noted... I was under the assumption that as long as it wasn't almost drained it would be ok.
Thanks for the clarification Zen~

I have 2 and they are well made! I got the first one with a SB I bought from the classies, and ordered a custom one for my Provari. They're both chrome, and the holsters keep them from getting any major dings.

Uma, just create an account on YouTube. You can save your favorite videos, so you always know where to find them!
If I lived in a perfect world, that would work great for me, and I appreciate the tip, but it won't work for me because I can't always get online. I need OFFline viewing and a way to download the tutorials for offline viewing at any time. I shouldn't even be online today... there's a week of clouds and rain expected and it's already started, and our solar batteries drop a good 3 points each day just from charging cell phones and ecigs yadda yadda. If I use the internet then it drops even more and by the end of a week I won't even be able to charge my cell phone or computer. And I MUST have my dvd movies if nothing else lol. Long story short, It'd be great to be able to push "Download" to my flashdrive and call it a day.

Uma, if you should feel so inclined get a 2"x 3" piece of heavy duty tin foil a medium weight paper clip and practice! Double the foil to 1"x 3" then roll it on the paper clip as Poppa Zen does the mesh it should give your fingers memory to what actions it will take to do the mesh ...just my wooden nickel ....happy vaping!!

Agreed... I have 400 and gave away all my 325 because I already know it doesn't wick my juice well.. I am not one of the ones that asked for anything special, like I said before.... I'm all set... But I am looking forward to using a official Zen~ rolled & approved House of Hybrids SS mesh genesis wick...

Yup, just clarifying for others. I too am looking forward to receiving his wicks so I can see how they should be done vs. the way I've done them

Let me preface this by saying that it's no skin of my back either way. I bought a square foot of each of the meshes and 4 different gauges of wire and I plan to have fun trying different wick, wire and coils configurations as I steadily tinker myself into vaping Nirvana. Having said that, I completely understand that there are plenty of people who aren't at all interested in that.
Zen~, it's your device, you know it best, and I think your reasoning is sound. In my view, the worst case scenario would be for someone who ordered only 1 grade of wick to use it, suffer unsatisfactory performance, and think that the device itself was to blame. For someone to think the Zenesis didn't live up to their expectations because they were unable to make one simple adjustment would be tragic.

Each Zenesis should come with 6 wicks of each grade, period. Additional pre-made wicks can be purchased later after we've all had time to try each type and after we've had time to get used to what, for most of us, will be our first foray into rebuildable attys.

Just my :2c:

- Tim

edited to add: OB, you and I are clearly on the same wavelength here, lol.

Hey Tim what 4 different gauges of wire and what kind and were you get them? Been thinking of playing myself. I know nothing about wire. Help a girl out here.
