How did you do dual coils? Two separate strands of wire?

easy...there is a thread for it but I will not post it, Zen is right. it isnt needed. it does drain your batteries very quickly and loads it down pretty good, overheating it.... I've been vaping some rather strong th cinnamon in my ody with that DC set-up and wasnt hitting on it all the time as I have 6 mods in front of me, or, 2 or 3 when out and about....i switch up with different juices in each mod... my other rebuildables all have single coils, between 1.6 and 2.1 ohms... that dc will be replaced with a single soon as it's due for a change being in the ody for 2 weeks now and taste has been rather 'muddy' lately

yeppers....so, you just wrap a coil you want, and then adjust the voltage until it vapes the way you want...easy

Well thanks for all the help folks. It is looking like I might end up being a proud owner of a titanium as soon as details are smoothed out. I am guessing this should actually end up being pretty light with the size! anyway I can watch videos now, so to it I go.

It will also depend on the guage of nichrome or kanthal you use. The thinner the wire, the higher the resistance and vice versa.

No offense, DDD, but it seems almost every new thread and many established ones have already mentioned this story.

Not sure if the media finally caught wind of the exploding PV that was mentioned here weeks ago or if this is a new incident. Either way, it's alarming and I hope the gentleman (or gentlemen) make(s) a full and speedy recovery.

Sorry about being late to the party. I have heard about others but this was the first I had seen this report. I just posted it here fyi and in response to questions regarding potential use of non imr batteries. Sorry if I upset anybody.

I think it should be called something like the TI special.

TI standard while accurate, does not seem to fit the TI version. It needs its own special name.
