My son is also depressed and failing school right now. He does not have anxiety though. He is very moody and grumpy. It seems that I did get thru to him though. The avoidance and grumpiness has calmed as of today. Is your daughter being bullied at all? My son was bullied quite a bit in elementary school and I think it shook his confidence. Even though it is over now and he has made some friends it took its toll. My son is 17, how old is your daughter?

She's 17 also. Not bullied but she is different from most of her classmates. But, she was diagnosed by the school with dyslexia in 1 st grade and we just found out she is not dyslexic but has ADD which went untreated for years and I suspect led to anxiety problems especially since she always struggled with school and feels a lot of pressure from it. But, this is all fresh and I could go on and on so I'll stop. It's terrible that your son was bullied. Makes me feel our kids need more people looking out for them in school, in both our cases. Anyway, goodnight. This headache needs sleep to cure it I think!

Glad you got it started. Did you use the oxidation tip in the other thread? If so, the flavor should develope pretty quickly.

If you have problems at the top, try tightening the nut about 2-3mm below the top of the post.

Thanks. What I really had trouble with was getting the wire between the two washers at the top. that's tight!

If it makes you feel any better, my parents had to deal with me being a full blown addict/alcoholic at age 17 and put me through MONTHS of inpatient and outpatient rehab, so you could have it worse I suppose! I wish you and your daughter my best wishes though. Adolescence is tough, but it seems like your daughter has a lovely mother to help her work through it.

EDIT: I have nearly 2 years of continuous sobriety btw! And if I got through my own set of issues, I have full faith that you are your daughter will survive yours and undoubtedly come out of them as stronger and more understanding individuals. Much love

My daughter had a full fledged, thought she was dying, panic attack out of nowhere about 6 months ago - and severe anxiety ever since. We're doing therapy and just yesterday saw a Psychiatrist about medication. She's also failing school and we're trying to help her catch up before it's too late. She's also depressed. *sigh* I wish she had normal teen problems right now like getting in (mild) trouble with her friends...

Wow, what a wonderful, caring group I've landed in! I don't post much, I do read and try to post, just don't have much to add since I've never used anything fancier than an eGo. Junebugg, I couldn't send much but I'm sure every little bit helps. I hope the tubes fix your daughters ear problems. All of my kids are furry and 4 legged but I know how I feel when one of them is not well.

Dental pick is my tool of choice. Had I kept my V2 I was going to nix the washers and add a second M2 nut.
