Hey LadyStrick9
I saw you on here a little while back, and noticed that you are local, and was glad to see that I wasn't in a vaping wasteland afterall, but now read that you are headed out west soon

Hi Brewzz! Yup, in a couple weeks I'm headed to Colorado. Sorry. I don't know any vapors near me, either. And this is a BIG place! You would think you would stumble across someone, eh?

MissEmma is in West Virginia, which isn't too awfully far :(

I spent several hours comparing various lubes and came to the conclusion that I don't care anymore.

#1 Some lubes are toxic (Moly), don't use them.

#2 Some lubes will destroy rubber orings if they are petro-based, silicone grease will swell a silicone oring, but I don't care because I don't plan on using it on my orings because it's not a flashlight.

#3 Some lubes will gunk and attract dirt, some will change color and stain, others have anti rust nitrates that increase wear potential on Ti See #1

#4 Some lubes are better on Aluminum, some are better for Titanium, most are fine on Stainless Steel.

#5 The better ones are overpriced and I question the veracity of the hyperbole surrounding how much better they are lacking any real empirical data to justify why the stuff sells for $25 a gram.

For me I will keep using ProGold because it's thin, doesn't attract dirt or grime, doesn't change color or stain, & I already bought another ProGold Pen for $1 ebay (I stole it in an auction) and I can't seem to rationalize why something more viscous would be ideal when you have to replace batteries frequently and you will likely get a gunked up mixture of dirt, metal particles, and debris that will likley be more problematic to deal with, clean, and maintain.

PS: I really need to get a life and/or get laid.

I've been using noalox for a long time and it works great, but NO-OX-ID "A Special" is the clear winner in my testing on APVs.

It's a tad expensive, but it does not have suspended particles that can potentially wear on threads, is FDA approved for contact with food so it is completely non-toxic and is conductive so it should enhance the performance of our APVs.

No, you are a whack job, that kind of stuff just makes me shake my head -- you never shared a cigarette?!?!? I'll bet you carry sterilizing stuff with you...:lol::lol:

I sold cleaned and boiled cartos without a semblance of guilt whatsoever, performance was off maybe 10% but still very usable - -should they have just been tossed? Stop judging broke people looking to save a couple $$$......

Hey Everyone, Been busy with family things and havent had time to post anything or join in on the banter. Question about sharing though: If you do ever get to go to a vape event with your toys such as a Zenesis, are you going to allow some of the others to try it? By now the Zenesis has become a hot commodity and I just know people will want to test it. Im not big on sharing saliva with strangers. But, I also dont want to come off as one who doesnt share either.. Maybe, just bring some alcohol wipes or something to clean it off between users.
On a side note: Isnt it amazing how we are willing to kiss someone we barely know and thus subject ourselves to their germs?

I would not use Krytox at all....it is non-conductive and would be doing only half of what we're wanting our lubes to do in the Zenesis.

Agreed. Being in heathcare and pharma I wouldn't put any of those on anything I put in my mouth. I think they were talking about O-rings though.

Twinkie for sale. Only 45% used. Reason: just not for me.

g-081102-hlth-twinkie-1p.grid-6x2.jpg

Anyone else think it's odd for partial juices to be sold in the classies? To me it's like selling half a twinkie.
I think it's perfectly OK. It's not like anyone licks the bottles or anything! And even if they did, I think the vaping temps would be high enough to kill any "cooties". :)

Yeah , I have seen the pricing and the price is there for savings but, ever wonder what people do to those juice BEFORE you get em?
Well, that's another question altogether! I bought a juice lot from the classies once, and there was a bottle of caramel popcorn from a popular vendor included. To me it tasted like burned toast, so I offered it up in a subsequent juice trade. The recipient emailed me afterwards, asking WTF was the juice, because it was one of his favorites and tasted nothing like what it should. I felt awful and apologized, but really I had no idea how it was supposed to taste.

I told my GF my birthday gift from here was supposed to be

1) No complaining for 24 hours.
2) No eye-rolling for 24 hours.

she said she could do the "no complaining" one :)
I'm an eye-roller, and it's next to impossible to not do it.
