Morning! I see zen~master checked in and is shipping something 6 weeks early! BAM????:banana::banana:

I decided my Lavatube was too long for my ZAU and sold it. If you were going to buy a tube mod, small, well made, uses 18650 mAh battery and is durable...which one would YOU get for a ZAU? Silver Bullet? Precise Plus? (I'm still on the fence with the Precise Plus bottom button...looks like it has to be turned in just one direction to fit the finger to push..I don't know...and it looks long, like the Lavatube). The Buzz Pro is long too and takes stacked batteries...that's a no go for me. No fingerprint magnet shiny chrome.

I'm thinking a Silver Vein Silver Bullet.

Any ideas???

I'm a fan of the Provari for tube mods. I like the fact that the electronics are designed and calibrated to a point of always delivering the voltage you set, when it reaches the point where the battery gets low it lets you know and when it can no longer give the set voltage it shuts off. Just my :2c:

I would highly recommend the P+ 18650... They are machined so well and I believe they had some Scratch and Dent models available for $140. It looks like the site is closed for the weekend but I'd check it out when its back if you are looking for an amazing, purely mechanical, tube mod. Also, if you are planning to use it a Z atty on it I think you need a Z atty P and the P+ needs to have the slant top.

I'm a chain vaper. How long does an 18500 battery last? On average...

i usually use the 18500 with the kick in my SB, i easily get a full work day out if it.. but i change the batt when i get home.. So i never really drained it.. also in the provari. the provari isn't a good judge of the batt either tho. I don't have any mods that just use the 18490, so i guess I'm no help.. LOL

But if Mike designed the mini around a 18350 in relation to the tank size, the 18490 should do perty good for the ZAU

:) Hair of the dog?

I hope you enjoyed your birthday celebration?

It takes me DAYS to recover from a night out drinking.

I think some really good dim sum is in order instead. The old grey mare is just not what she used to be (talking about me or course :))

are we sure the 316L is the same as 316 LVM?

Welcome. Reading the entire thread is one heck of a chore, but trust me, I did it, and it's worth it!

quoted from http://www.montanabodyart.com/316lvm-explained/

316L & 316LVM steel are really the same material and must meet the same strict standards for implant grade designation. The difference is in the process and 316LVM has a greater chance of exceeding the implant grade specifications than 316L, but it is entirely possible for a batch of 316L to be higher grade than a batch of 316LVM.

With the strata atty coming out, those are likely to be hard to find. Just saying
