i'm so behind in this thread it makes me feel ill....with that said i see lots of you having issues that are quite common to all that are new to the device.
1. misfiring switch: as others have pointed out make sure you scuff up the neg. screw a bit with some sandpaper. also make sure it is clean. noalox is good to use too(i don't use it, never needed too) just like the neg. screw make sure your batts are clean and give them a sandpapering every so often
2. burnt taste/wicking issues: there are several things that can cause this with the first one i am going to mention is shorts. a short will leave a nasty taste(most times) and makes the wick not perform properly. make sure there are no short!
secondly you may have scorched the ptfe insert by some means(whether by firing too long or having the coil too close to the insert) this is not pleasent and will clog your wick in seconds making it useless! you should notice you did this cause it will have a weird plastic taste to it. i have done this once and it was not pleasent. you have no recoarse but to install a new wick.
the third result of burnt taste is loose coils. if you have loose coils not in contact with the wick it will cause the coil to heat up quick cause its not in contact with juice. this all comes down to practice in making coils and after a while you can do it in your sleep.
and most important thing i keep telling new peeps, learn to hold this apv differently. most e-cig users are now used to using thier products vertically now, you cannot do that with the zenesis, hold at 3-4 o'clock with wick pointed down.
one last note ima touch base on which should get a chuckle from a few zenfidels, if someone like ob can get the hang of a zenesis, any of you can!!!!! ob i love ya but you are braindead and overthink the simplest of things. maybe we need a new slogan "so easy ob can do it"(damn geico comercials)

Regarding the stainless tanks you guys are sourcing... please don't do that.
I have them IN THE PRODUCTION QUEUE.
Online metals guarantees cuts to +/- .125 and these are NOT finished cuts... they are rough. How will you feel if you buy a 1" tube for a Mini and it shows up 7/8" and is useless to you? Or 1 1/8... and the top cap won't go on?
The inside dimensions of that tube are not correct, you will have fit issues.
The bottom line: PLEASE BE PATIENT... I promised these would come and they will. I have HUNDREDS of them in process, finished to match, made of the correct steel and the exact dimensions.
The only way to get these right is to do it right... that involves having the tubing ID turned to fit and with proper end finishes.

there is nothing better than a zenesis......it looks like a big learning curve but it really isn't. after a while you smack yourself and go "damn this is easier than filling a carto"

Damn! I thought, not watching the news or ESPN would prevent me from hearing ANY news about the fight. Never would I have suspected that on this forum would I have read anything like this. Granted, you didn't say who the decision went to...and hope nobody will because I have a week before the fight is re-broadcast.
