Ooh..and a question. Maybe someone has experimented with something similar before. Since wicking seems to occur during the tilt rather than directly wicking up the mesh, is it really necessary to have the wick extend to near the bottom of the tank? It seems like it would work a bit better if the wick was cut just as it poked out underneath the top plate of the tank such that tilting would deliver juice quickly through the hole and up to the coil. On top of that it would definitely cut down on mesh usage. Just an idea. Nite all!
