Yep... Been there, done that. I'm having a T-shirt made up with all that printed on it.... Just waiting for the FINAL, MAGICAL step. :)

I'm sure you've done this, but just in case you haven't...did you try a dab of Noalox on the Negative screw?

You also might want to try NO-OX-ID "A Special" to clean the switch and thread...positive screw, negative screw, magnets, under the magnets....every inch of the switch. If you haven't done that yet. NO-OX-ID made my Zenesises hit like steam engines.

If you have tried this...IGNORE THIS POST. ;)

Lucky you. Still waiting for mine, as long as it gets here it doesn't bug me too much. If I can withstand the midnight madness sale, I can handle the wait.

Shoot! I read tt post by Zen~, too.

Ok, so... Could a Zenfidel be kind enough to answer these questions 'cos I'm not sure when I should be awake or asleep due to e time difference.
1) Does Midnight Madness occur on a monthly basis..?
2) Is it based on e US EST...?

There will NEVER be a Midnight Madness sale again because zen~'s site was attacked during that sale.

From here on out, zen~ will give a "general" release time...like "in one week" or "in 10 days" and then you have to just watch the site to see when they're in stock and buy FAST because they sell out in minutes.

good advise, if it is a sporadic issue, if more have these issues this workaround is not a solution and I think that Mike should come up with a permanent fix. To source lubes that are not readily available for all to have it work 100% is a way to solve it temporarily but is not ideal. There are people who will not read all this, be frustrated and honestly the switch should work without modding, if there is a flaw in the design, it should be fixed with a permanent solution.

Ok, that's just mean.. Attacking someone's site, trying to spoil his sales.. Tt's downright wrong...

Alrite, I'll be on high alert since I missed out e last one due to my stupidity, not knowing when's 12 midnight EST. Tt could qualify me for an AYS, could it..? :p And... It's all gone... Well, I'm geared up for e next round of sales! Thank you, Vic, for caring to explain!

Just to defend Vic's answer, these are things that lorderos does to all his devices as a standard thing.

We do not know yet if this is actually a permanent issue.

Ob, yes, again let's see but if using this lube is the (only) permanent fix, than it should be part of the package and clearly stated how to apply and maintain when the APV is purchased. Concerning how many have this issue, I can only say that as there are not too many units out there being sold and used yet I have seen already in a short time a few who have these issues, that it is not considered a single issue.

I agree. I just am not sure yet if this is a permanent issue or not.

I currently have five of these and do not have this firing issue on any.

Time will tell I guess :)

FWIW, here's what I did to prep mine when it arrived this morning.

1 - Removed top cap
2 - Admired Zen~'s coil wrapping (A thing of beauty)
2 - Filled tank to 3/4 full (with Pluid, obviously)
3 - Removed the switch
4 - Inserted battery
5 - Replaced switch
6 - Replaced top cap
7 - Inserted drip tip
8 - Just vaped it....

Obviously it still needs some break in, but great flavor / vapor by the 5th puff....
Going on about 2 hours now, and no missfires, no dry hits, etc.. I did crimp the wick top just a bit to stop a tad of leaking. So far, perfection...

Very true and it could be a certain batch, certain model, remember nobody is perfect, machines included :D

Yeah, if it's a design flaw, but most people don't have a continuous problem with their switches like spw is having. Right? My three switches were working fine before I NO-OX-ID-ed them, and they just worked even better after I did use it. I'm pretty sure most mechanical switches need to be periodically cleaned and treated with NO-OX-ID or Noalox. I had to do the same with my three Reo mods...as recommended by Rob, the guy who makes them. It just makes them fire BETTER.

So, I wouldn't think it's a design flaw. Something else must be going on. Zen~ would probably be the go to guy for that. He shouldn't still be having issues with his switch.

Morning all! Afternoon actually.
I have a question I figured you all might be able to help with. I am using the only Genesis style atty I have ever tried and am noticing when I vape it it feels very harsh in my lungs and I am not getting a ton of vapor. My husband says he is getting the same burning feeling in his lungs upon inhale. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced that, It almost feels like it's because I am taking a huge hit but I'm not and not a lot of vapor coming out either. Is it possible that the air hole is too small. i don't want to make the air hole bigger only to find out that isn't the issue and I am stuck with the larger air hole. What do you guys think? I will be so happy when I get my Zenesis and I know everything is just right.

ian let me know how ur jucie works for u because i too use 80vg/20pg for my everyday vape
thanks

For those waiting to receive their first Zenesis, and don't even try to pretend you haven't already decided... What will be your first liquid to hit the tank?

Mine = Pluid, and yes, I'm an addict.

Awesome! My K-mini is due in today too, but I have a feeling the USPS is going to **** it up. It went to a sort facility in a part of the state my packages never go to.

Let me know how it works for you. I'm concerned, my daily juice is 80/20% VG/PG. Is that going to be to thick for the stock wick? It comes with 400 installed, correct?

Agree! Mike is the one that should be able to answer. It cannot be ignored or thrown on user error. I have seen that before, the maker would come out with a "better" version, an upgrade and just forgot about the people that spend there good earned money on something that should work as it was intended to be. I have higher hopes here and I am convinced those people with issues will be treated correctly! I just hope it will be addressed and solved prior to having new models and colors coming out....

PS: It is also a fact that not everybody will throw it out on the forum, they will rather stay quit to not be marked as foolish or stupid...I have seen that also many times.....
