Mike………. Replacing the magnets with a spring has not helped. It does fire, but it's just as inconsistant as it was before... The switch is still hit and miss. I double checked the coil once more by shorting negative side of battery to the tube and its fine.

On the plus side… When I went to the hardware store to find springs, I discovered a new place for some really good enchiladas.

Try an experiment... hit your local home depot, lowes or Ace Hardware and grab a light tension spring, 1/2" in diameter... remove the magnets and put in the spring... if she fires... the problem is the actuation not being performed correctly... if not, we'll seek a solution elsewhere.

I don't believe I'm doing this... But I have this condition that doesn't let me hold my tongue when I feel to say something. Please, K-man, don't take it the wrong way, you're not even the only one, I'm sure... And I'm not targeting you, I'm wondering about people's feelings and judgements.

It's just... on the one hand, I understand that there is to be no talk about price gouging due to Zen's preference. But when some presented their arguments about free market and all that BS, people here jumped and demonized them. OK. The ones who actually did sell an APV at higher price, were uber-satanized, but even those who felt that wasn't such a big sin were demonized. All good, right?

OK, then, can someone please explain how come hoarding otherwise scarce APVs is a badge of honor?...

Don't get me wrong, I try not to attach a moral judgement to either. I couldn't care less. If you can afford and are able to source - have your fill. But when a judgement is passed on one, you can't accept the other. Best, most normal, would be to hold off judgement on both, but ... oh, well, it's one of those philosphical dilemmas without an answer I guess...

I don't know, there are a ton of people trying to pick up a zenesis right now. I really think there's something to be said of someone going through the work of literally hunting them down. I'm fairly confident a couple of those will end up being sold to some good people here.

He's human so it could happen. I would think missing more likely than one flipped upside down. If they were simply broken I don't think the switch would move far enough or easily enough for gravity to activate it when held upside down. Of course I am only human too so I could be completely wrong too ;)

Very true. Regardless, the consensus is that SOMETHING is wrong with the magnets that needs to be checked out. Hopefully it'll get figured out for church's sake.

dam my trustfire charger is only charging one battery for some reason any body know any good chargers out there that dont cost mega bucks

Dude I have a charger I no longer use, it was the one I first started out with. It's none of the most common names in chargers and plugs straight into the wall, no extra cord required. It works fine but I replaced it with a Pila charger. You are more than welcome to it, let me know and I can drive down and meet you some where.
