Right on!!! It's helped in more ways than just one. Thanks for sharing! The battery life is another aspect to consider while probling around tubular dimensions with bits and spurs.

I found that, before I sanded the burr off my bottom screw, the apv wasn't firing adequately either. Took forever for the coils to get hot and juice in the bottom of the tank was turning BLACK! The sanding took care of it.

I am a little sad today. I am home alone and missing my little doggie. I am in tears and need some cheering up.
I'm sorry you're having a bad day. ((((((((((Katz))))))))))
One of the ONLY things that helped me to gain a better day after my old dog died? The fact that it used to worry her silly whenever I felt sad or angry about a n y t h i n g.
She couldn't handle me being sad.
So, I put on a smiley face, and hugged her in my arms at night. (I swear she's still hogging the blankets!).
To put on a smiley face, I remember all the cute things she did that are forever cemented into my heart.
The way she'd attack the Thunder and Lightening God. "You wanna piece of this huh huh??" as she cackled up like a Rhodesian Ridgeback, barking out the window.
The way she'd squeel with delight whenever I played "Busy busy beeeee" with her.
The way her paws would open and close like a racoon's does, to grab me for a hug.
The way she refused to let me out of her sight.
The way she'd claim any blanket, throw, coat, shirt, tossed on the couch as her's.
The way she'd cover herself up and lay her head on the pillow.
The way she'd curl behind my knees so I wouldn't bother her whenever I'd turn over at night.
The way she'd take on any intruder who looked mean or who had bad vibes.

Yep, she was mostly chiwahwa(sp), a little pit bull and a whole lot of love. I could go on forever about her, THANK GOD. :)

Thank you, and that helped loads too. My little one was like yours in a lot of ways, she was a Pomeranian. I loved her to bits and she loved me just as much.

Me too. We can commiserate together. :(

I have had the week from hell.

Wednesday, June 27th, we had to let our little Isabelle go. She was 12 years old and very, very sick so we had to say goodbye to her. :( She was a huge part of our family and we loved her dearly. I will miss her forever.

Thursday, the day after we let my sweetheart Isabelle go, I was doing laundry and walked into the utility room to fold a load and stepped into hot water on the floor. The hot water heater was leaking. I immediately called Sears and ordered a replacement and it was installed Friday. The installer wanted to let the old water heater drain and dry out so we wouldn't have rusty water pouring out on the stairs and flooring when it was carried upstairs and out to his truck. He would arrangement for 2 men to pick it up on Monday, July 2nd. Monday came and went without so much as a courtesy call to say they couldn't pick it up. They just didn't show up!

I got on the phone to call them, no answer and got the voice mail. I then called Sears and complained and they tried reaching the installer to no avail. So, I call back on Tuesday, got the installer's voice mail. I proceeded to call Sears and complain, AGAIN. They called the installer at a different number and they answered and I was connected to them. They said they would be at my house on Friday, before noon to pick up the old water heater. Guess who didn't show up yesterday before noon? That's right! They also didn't bother calling me to tell me they weren't coming and again...just didn't show up!

Once again, I call the installer yesterday afternoon and their voice mail is FULL (probably full of complaints!), so I again call Sears to complain and they couldn't reach the installer either this time. I was told by Sears to call the installer in the morning at 8:00 AM. That was this morning. I did call and again, NO ANSWER!

I AGAIN call Sears and THIS time I told them I wanted to speak to someone about a REFUND on my hot water heater that was installed 10 days ago. I was told the installer team that would remove it doesn't work on the weekend. Riiiight. SO....since I know someone who is well known at our local Sears, THEY arranged for a head honcho to go over the head of the Installation Customer Service Dept. Manager and that head honcho called the installer today and supposedly arranged to have the old water heater picked up on Monday.

Anyone wanna place a bet they don't show up?

My life the last 10 days. :(
((((((((((Vicsan)))))))))) I'm so sorry for your loss. :(

Dang about the hwh!! Come on over to my place, I have a Solar shower on a knoll overlooking the beautiful mountain views. It clears the head of any boilmaking moments.... well, MOST boilmakers lol.
We haven't had a hwh in over 6 years, besides the solar and the tea kettle, but this summer we're hoping to pick up one of those On Demand Camping ones. (it uses a battery to ignite). It's not fun going without a hwh, especially when you're forced to such as in your case with the broken one, and I feel for you. I want to share the alternatives though, for you in case you ever decide on a back up for your back ups ...
Hope they fix it NOW!!!

Thank you, Uma.

We had a new HWH installed 10 days ago. They just won't pick up the old they were suppose to haul away. It's still standing in the middle of my utility room. :(

I'm a huge believer in alternative energy and really wish we could go that route COMPLETELY. I do drive a Prius.....which I LOVE. ;)
