Thanks, disarstar.

That's the setup I'm leaning toward, with some extra spacers for the WP6 for 18350, for just in case, and the 18350 spacers for the WP2.

Is the fast charging option considered OK for the batts over the long haul, and is it as safe as the normal longer charging option?

My opinion is the wp2 is really cool for 18350. But in the wp6 i don't charge the 18350. There are spings to hold the batteries, the metal in the wp2 is perfect to hold the small batteries. It works in the wp6 but it's too wobbly for 18350 i think.

The fast charge option is for 18650 batteries perfect, not 6 hours only 2 hours to charge them. But i use it only one time at work. Got enough backup so i don't need the fastcharge often. If you use good batteries like aw i think it makes no diffrence, if you got the time i wouldn't use it. In pressure of time absolutly perfect.

And the SP2 info from RTD.

1. SP2 is the follow-up product of the successful WP2II, and is no doubt one of the best 3.7V Li-ion charger in the market today.

2. SP2 is a professional automatic charger with high charging current, which is designed to charge 14500/14650/16340(requires 15mm spacer)/17670/18350(requires 15mm spacer)/18500/18650/18700/22650/25500/26650 3.6/3.7V Li-ion battery.

3. It designed with under-voltage lock out and algorithm (TC-CC-CV) charging method which can monitor the battery status in real time.

4. The charger adopts PWM technology, to supply the charging management system charging power.

5. SP2 is designed with 0.5A, 1A, 2A optional charging constant current so that batteries with different capacities can achieve the best charging condition.

Thanks, Mr White. I looked for your old PM advice, but couldn't find the note.....LOL

Why do you like the Pila charger better than the WP6 charger?

I bought the PILA before the XTARs were readily available.

I went with the 2 bay Xtar because I don't really need to charge 6 batts at once. I just wanted something to handle 18350s without having to mess with spacers every time I went to charge them.

The difference between the Xtar and the Pila isn't so nearly as pronounced as the difference between those two and all the Trustfire and Ultrafire chargers. The Pila and the Xtar are intelligent chargers that constantly monitor the battery and use a charging algorithm. Those other chargers don't vary the charge. That's why I think either the Pila or the Xtar will be fine for you.

Battery life on Mini:

Today I've stamped the time for a fresh 18350 put into my APV. It was installed at 8:45 am at the start my work day. Smoking at my normal pace (and mind you I was a pack a day smoker), I can say that vape production and performance have not diminished much as of 3:45pm. That is a pretty solid 7 hours of vaping.

Very good battery life for a 700mah battery in a mechanical APV.

ps. I'm still vaping away on the same battery as I type this.
