first you get the eliquid, then you get the zenesis....then when you get the zenesis....then you get the vapor.
I bought the PILA before the XTARs were readily available.
I went with the 2 bay xtar because I don't really need to charge 6 batts at once. I just wanted something to handle 18350s without having to mess with spacers every time I went to charge them.
The difference between the xtar and the Pila isn't so nearly as pronounced as the difference between those two and all the Trustfire and Ultrafire chargers. The Pila and the Xtar are intelligent chargers that constantly monitor the battery and use a charging algorithm. Those other chargers don't vary the charge. That's why I think either the Pila or the Xtar will be fine for you.
When I get a zen my scarface line will be "say hello to my little friend"
I've never owned either and never had a problem fwiw, I go cheap and used for my chargers.....![]()
I disagree, drawings are for creating an object and need to meet todays standards of fabrication. I have not seen a hand drawn drawing with a scale tolerance of 0 that can be entered with a puck. I have used cad for several years in the general construction field for many years and don't want to return to the flinstone era.

I know exactly where you’re coming from Ripple as I come from a somewhat similar background. My first “Real” job was as a board drafter for a civil engineering firm. You see, back when they still used dinosaur eggs for footballs, my 8th grade Art teacher taught me how to use the drafting tools I found in his desk one day. While everyone else was finger painting, I was measuring the art room and drawing an architectural plan of it. It was love at first sight.
So when CADD came into our lives around the early to mid-eighties, I could see the writing on the wall. I stuck with it… What the heii else was I going to do? I sure didn’t like though. I felt like it disassociated the operator from their work somehow. As you said… One didn’t have to fully understand the math and/or geometry behind the commands like they did when you did them by hand. It didn’t appear to me that people took quite as much pride in their work… Although I know some very fine CADD Techs who are very good at what they do.

Well, I've thought about it, and with a heavy heart I have to say my goodbye....
For the weekend. I'm off to sunny Syracuse, NY for my nieces 5th birthday...I know some of you are in the area, and I wish I had time to meet some of you upstate NYers, but it's a very direct mission. Driving up tonight, bailing out and heading home first thing Sunday morning. I'll miss you guys. Enjoy your weekends.
Later all....and K-man, you damn Canuck.

Very well said and my sentiments exactly!I've finally caught up, after getting sidetracked for two weeks with all kinds of issues that unfortunately have to take precedence over this thread.
First, the new switch is still rocking. I'm still getting consistent and exceptional vapes every time I've hit the button. I'm also getting noticeably better battery life.
Second, congrats to all the ASH owners who got their notifications. That is perhaps the coolest of the limited runs. It's not the rarest of the APVs, or the most colorful, but it was created specifically to allow another group of people to be Zenesis owners, who otherwise would be without for quite some time.
I'm a Febber. The Zenesis was my first Gen atty, but I'd been reading up on them before I signed on for the ride in early January. I thought I had my work cut out for me when I read through 50 pages (Little did I realize....LOL) and checked out Mike's initial video before I posted in the thread or PMed him.
I've been through the wait, the learning curve to get my APV running well, and some more learning to get into fine tuning. I was here for waffles, magnets, the banning of certain topics and a lot more.
Through it all, I've finally come to realize that the best part of my APV isn't that it makes plumes of vapor, or has incredible flavor, or marks the fact that I finally managed to land on the cutting edge of something here instead of having to spend a lot of time and mental energy chasing something I thought I wanted.
The best thing about my Zenesis is that since I've had it, I've been satisfied to the point that I no longer have to participate in the rat race that securing the vaping gear that I wanted had become. I don't have to figure out when my favorite atties will be back in stock or search for my next step in vaping, because I don't need any more steps. I look at the classifieds as a weary veteran, glad I don't have to try and chase anything down in a forum that has definitely changed in it's intent since I started here, and sadly not for the better in my experience and opinion.
"Just Vape It" for me isn't just about leaving the APV alone, it's about leaving the chase behind. I feel for the posters that I see and hear from on this forum that don't have an APV yet. I know exactly what it is like to want to try and get a better vape and not to be able to have it--now. I have complete confidence in Mike, and I'm certain wait times will be decreased, APVs will be built, and many, many of you will not be so concerned about how long the wait was once you get your Zenesis. Your time vaping will be divided into two parts BZ--Before Zenesis and AZ--After Zenesis.
The Zenesis is a game changer for me because it put an end to the game, and that was constantly looking for the next thing in vaping. Constantly running away from cigarettes. My Standard was a gift to mark my one year anniversary of being cigarette free. I was at a point where I was questioning everything about vaping, wondering if it was all worth the hassle.
I'm now past 18 months without cigarettes. For me the most important thing is that I haven't passed a particular date, it's that I've stopped counting all together. It's brought me a peace of mind that I haven't had since I quit tobacco for the umpteenth time. The difference this time is that I'm still not smoking, and better than that, I'm not really spending energy on quitting. I've quit quitting, but this time it didn't end with me smoking again.
I hope all the ASH owners, and all the people who visit this thread find what they are looking for.
And Zenta Claus?
