3/4" OD 5/8"ID 1/16"Wall. Like I said, I looked through them and found one that was fatter than the others. I dry fit it & found it was considerable more snug than OEM. So far, it's solving the problem

Cool - thanks. It is on the top of my to-do list. Along with inventing a desktop cradle and maybe a Zen-holder with a pocket clip. :)

Yes it is he!!. Deep dark hot fiery he!!. Bottom of the barrel ........ Ok I will stop here and say.... I need a meeting ob... Some form of intervention.... I'm flippin', flippin' out over here....

Ok, got that outta the way.. Man these look amaZen. What an incredible looking piece of machinery.. I cannot wait to get my hands all over my standard...

This thing that you have done Zen, do you know what it is? I do, to put it simply.. You have changed the world... I know, I know... Go ahead and be modest if ya want... But that is exactly what you have done... You have taken the best, and most advanced design of a pv to date and made it as simple to use as a ego... And if your lower price, for the masses, apv becomes a reality... I just don't know where that would leave most other manufacturers...

But as for me, I'm staying right here!!!

Initial problems and a fix I made.

The problems
:
1) Juice in my battery compartment. ?? (gotta say that is weird and can't be good)
2) O-ring that holds the tank in place gets juice on it and tank gets REAL easy to slip right off. Not good.
3) Cap comes off too easy. Maybe threaded would be more secure?
4) Not sure if it is from laying on it's side, but my cap sure ends up with a LOT of juice in it. I'm not turning it upside down - it is just leaking in there. Is the filler hole supposed to just be open?

The fix - A rubber cover for the body and tank so hopefully it won't break if dropped. (Bicycle inner-tube)

The positive:
1) once it starts hitting like it should, it is fantastic

OK first day my cap was coming off easy but the next day it tighten up. The same for the tank it won't slide off because the o ring wont let it get past that point and it doesn't slide up enough to let the juice leek out. You need to give it a couple of days to break in. Everything is new and slippery. My is fine now, no need for different o rings.

I feel for all the people who are having small issues.

And I feel for Zen for I know he is taking all of this to heart.

The good news is that we have a manufacturer who will stand behind his product and take care of all issues.

I guess for the Marchers, we are going to be benefiting from some of the small issues and learning curves from the early adopters. That is the bright side of that at least.

Might I suggest posting all the questions and issues in the group thread?

I will set up a thread for issues, and zen can have a place to see them.
Please keep it streamlined and clean so it is easy for him to read.

Not as much chatter (funny coming from me :))

there is also a tip's and tricks thread that someone set up as well. check it out!

It will be set up as soon as I post this reply.

One quick comment and I will be back to address more issues in a bit...

The tank o rings and the cap o ring are not the same size... If you try to change the tank o rings to the size capt Louisville posted you WILL put too much pressure on the tank... It WILL break when you try to force it on.

The cap O ring WILL expand in a day or so once it gets wet with juice. You will be able to actually carry the PV by the cap.

PLEASE give it a day or so before judging the design of that section of the PV.

And the picture with the inner tube on it actually hurt my feelings just a little bit... Seriously.

I have to go back to building more PVs... I'll be back later.

No problem - I'll give it a few days. Just wanted to throw it out there. The inner-tube is a temporary fix until I can make something prettier, as I am still worried about fumbling around and breaking the tank as someone else did. You can take it as a compliment that I want to protect it.
