Haha! Just got home a few minutes ago. That's great news K-man, you'll have to fill me in on the details tomorrow.

We did win a prize for our movie. Best Cinematography. So technically, it's an award winning film.

Awesome!

Does that preclude you from uploading to Google-Tube??? Inquiring eyes wanna see.... :) :) :)

First day back at work in two weeks. Went better then I thought. I even got a new subordinate.

Speaking of my new subordinate. I feel bad for him. He got married 18 months ago and due to certain circumstances he has been away from his wife amd her two kids just along. Well he is planning on moving them up here next month. Up until two weeks ago he assumed the military would assist on moving them up here. However that is not the case. He then contacted the air force aide society. The usely help by honing free loans. He found out last week that he got turned down because they felt that this was a planed event.

He is an E-3 and can not afford this expense. You guys know I am a giving person and I have already promised him $500(from my pluid fund). But that is not even close to the$4000 that he needs to move them up here.

I am not asking for donations but they are welcome. I am planning on doing a run of pluid and selling them at a slightly increased price. All profits will go to him.

How much would you pay for pluid if it is going to a good cause?

I wish my laptop didn't crash. I miss being able to use a regular comp + all the pics I had on there, most important were the puppy pics of my dog.

Still catching up but if you still have the laptop you can pull the data from the HDD assuming it is still intact (link) Good evening everyone.

Are you by chance using a mac? I think I heard that macs somehow don't work properly with the linking? That post is #2956, or you can find it easiest by going to the very first post (Classy was nice enough to add it to the opening post.)

I use a mac everyday, oh wait you are talking about the PC mac nvm. Good to see you Mann.

Oh, wow... reminds me of my experiences in the AF back in the early 80s (except back then the AF helped me out directly; things are apparently different now). But same situation - stuck in the back-of-beyond with wife and kids far away.

Heck, Murdock - I've been wanting to sample Pluid for a while now; name your price.

OK, not $5k a mil :p... but anything reasonable; say an extra $5 - $10 a 30 mil bottle or something of the like, and count me in for a couple.
