Before you buy a stiff draw cap,
you can place a piece of tape, like masking tape, over the hole.
Then use a needle or toothpick, sharp edge to poke a little hole in the tape over the cap hole.

Try it then. You can make the tape hole bigger as you go along, to test if you really want a stiff draw cap.
I did this when I first got mine, and after a little while, I just ditched the tape.

Most people wind up preferring the stock cap, YMMV.

I'm vaping Blu Spot, it's a 70/30 pg/vg. I'm not 100% sure what mesh this is. I'm going to say it's 400 because the pack with 325 has 6, and the 400 pack has 5.

Sounds like it's probably the 400 wick then. It's hard to know if that wick has been vaped and what juice the previous owner used with it. If it's 400, you should be fine. Is the tip of the wick pinched closed? If not, pinch it closed. See if the wicking improves.

yep just take the oring and put a couple wraps of thread under it.. The cap on my alumizen is perty tight.. LOL I would need a file tho and im not doing that..haha

Also make sure the wick isn't touching the center positive post. You want it close, but never touching it.
