I want to make one more off topic comment.

As many of you know, I am obviously a big supporter of Mike and his products. I know many think we are probably very close friends who chit-chat all the time on the phone. In fact there are others on this thread who have probably had much more contact than I have. I have a tendency to try to not bug him unless I have something major to discuss. I can say the first time we ever actually spoke was on CB's show a little while back. After that we had a conversation on the phone that was really great (and long. We both are talkers :))

I have had the pleasure of talking a couple of times in the last few days. As I said, I do not make a habit of calling as I know how busy he is. When we do talk, I always find it entertaining, enlightening and interesting. I would NEVER discuss on there what we discuss as I feel that what we talk about is between us. Most of it is not even stuff most of you would care about.

The point I want to make is this. Mike is a wonderful, caring, thoughtful and passionate man. I felt this from him before we even ever talked in person, but it is reinforced whenever I talk to him. I know people like to criticize him on this site and others for what they perceive to be faults (communication, shipping etc) I can tell you that I will defend him most of the time and other times I will just ignore the comments.

I am no longer going to do that. I think I understand this man better than ever after my last couple of conversations, and I can say with 100% confidence, that he is doing what he thinks is in the best interest of everyone and what is right. Is he perfect? No, but none of us are. At least he is trying and that is more than I can say for a lot of people. He gives more of himself than most people I know, and my respect for him is enormous.

I will no longer sit back and be silent while people who have no idea what he is going through bash him without having all the details. Call me a homer. I do not care any longer. Trust me, I own a lot of devices, from a lot of people that I think are making wonderful things. They might be wonderful people as well. I feel like I know this man now and I can tell you with certainly that he is a great person. You can take my word for it or not. I do not care. :)

it's on like donkey kong. :) (I just like saying that :))

Sorry to "out" you as a great person like this in a public forum. You might be annoyed that I am doing this. I do not care about that either. It needed to be said.

love, the ob.

Sounds like a love story :D

yeah, screw rat :)

jk. I love me some rat. :)

nice recovery, brother...

you said a great deal of what i have felt over the past year with regard to my friend, Mike. you have no idea how many times i've had to bite my tongue and refrain from lambasting someone for their comments. i always thought that he is a big boy and can defend himself if he wished to. there were more than a few times that my "Buddhist tolerance" was out the window because he is my friend first.
Mike will always be the first vaper i ever met. the fact that he, for some reason, finds me to be amusing enough to stay friends is something i consider myself lucky to have. it's always fantastic to me when someone realizes this separation between Mike and Zen, since he's always been Mike to me. it's nice to have another ally who sees the man behind the curtain.
welcome aboard, mate!

thanks buddy.

he can defend himself, and will when he is around to do it. In the meantime, he has you and the ob his smartassey elf to help.

I am mad as he11 and not going to take it anymore. reference might be lost on younger viewers :) It is actually too old for me too :)

as a side note, I am strongly considering researching becoming a Buddhist. I think it might be perfect for me.

on another side note, every single time I look at your avi, I smile. I love that one so much.

Yes and no. You can pocket it but be careful that it stays upright and the cap does not get knocked off. You can lay it down for a minute or so as long at the air intake is pointed up.
I have a quick question. I should already know this, but are the Zens pocket friendly? And can they be laid down?

I'm bi but had no idea, though I guess I've figured it out from context today.

Not really, and not for more than a minute or two. They're totally worth that inconvenience though!

Edit: they handle front shirt pockets just fine if they're not more than like 5/6 full.

Pocket friendly - somewhat! :) Unscrew the switch a little and it won't fire.

Laid down - only for a minute. If you leave it that way, it will leak because of the air hole.

I won't be meeting up with him till tomorrow for lunch. He has family out here as well. Hopefully he does not get into too much trouble, because I only know the chief of police in West Vancouver and he has no pull with the Downtown Vancouver Police detachment. :D
aren't you supposed to be busy keeping K-man out of the custody of the BC Police?!

that depends on your idea of "pocket friendly". personally, i don't think that they are which is why i have a holster for mine. yes, you can lay them down on their side. make sure you always have the intake hole facing up.

I am neither bi nor gay but have nothing against those who are or might be. I treat everyone with the respect they deserve.
