The two above the bottom wrap are a little too hot but if your keeping it nice and wet (adequate tipping) then those two don't look like they would matter much. However since you troubleshooting, nudge each one a bit till they glow like the other three.

Just got this today and I just had to post a pic. I was totally wow'd by this thing. Absolutely beautiful. Now to figure out where I plan on setting this bad boy. I need to clean tomorrow so my end table has less clutter, then it's new home will be established.

you can't put the battery upside down. it would have to go all of the way up inside the tub and the positive then touches it

My daughter is now on complete bedrest, her blood pressure isn't good and the doctors are hoping (I'm praying) that she can hold on just 5 more weeks. It's too early for her to deliver the baby. We'll manage and things are going to be fine, I'm just not going to have it any other way!!!!
Wanted to tell everyone CONGRATS on getting their new Zattys! I just love Zen and love all the care he gives in making these for us. It can't be easy on him but he just keeps on keeping on because he knows how much we need them.
Oh, and wanted to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to ECF staff!!! I know they always here it when someone doesn't like something but I wanted to tell them I think they're terrific!!!! I cannot imagine what they have to deal with on a daily basis, but when you need assistance, they will go out of their way to help in any way they can!!!!! They don't get the kudos that they deserve half the time, but I wanted to personally thank them for all they do!!!! And here's a hug....(((((((((HUGS))))))))))

I can't give you the "technicals", but something tells me not to make the body of my PV the positive, or hot, side of the circuit.
Do you have juice in it? It might not glow if it's filled. I never tried firing mine before filling it, just got lucky!

Yes, filled with juice, cant tell how many coils are firing, wrapped it again. Getting vapor but idk if its the right amount for the device.
Seems like the bottom 2-3 coils arent doing much. clean taste tho. I'd its my 1st real rebuildable so...

That may be cause the orion has some electronic's that won't allow that. (pailpoe (sp)switch?) With most mechanical mods it doesn't matter which way the current flows.i don't know about that lazer
I was using my kick in my GP PAPS with the batt "upside down". And just switched my ASH to upside down and it fires just like rightside up.
I don't think you can tell what glows once the wick is wet.
I always wrap, test fire, adjust as needed, then fill the tank.
