Ecitek... I have no clue where you got that mesh... but it sure doesn't look like any 325x325 I've ever seen, even if they said it was!
It looks WAY too coarse... in fact it looks like fine window screen... please compare it to the 325x325 wicks I included and see if it's looser mesh... it could just be the photo, but really coarse mesh will over wick like crazy, and that's exactly the symptom you are experiencing.

Hey - I thought of a name for my Mini!
JUICIFER!
Some of you will get it.
I am guessing my standard is one of the five that will ship tomorrow.
OH NO!!!! Did you jet the serial # 666???...
Hi fellow Zenfidels, I have a quick question. I have the minibut I am starting to have misfires quite often. Let me describe the problem: When it fires everything is awesome, however about every 3rd hit (sometimes repeatedly) it will not fire. I checked to see if the button screw is not making contact but to the best of my knowledge it is. Another phenomena I noted; I took the cap off to see if it was firing and it was not so I held the button down and after about 10 seconds it starts to fire after about another 2 or 3 seconds it is putting out copious amounts of vapor. However, after I let go of the button it starts the misfiring again. Any suggestions?
Also to note, I read a few pages back that zen is going to have a fix for the button issue for the standards. I have a mini and the button on mine is very loose and I was wondering if that is the main problem and is it going to be addressed for the the mini owners also?
For Zen~: Please don't read this as a complaint or judgement; I think the whole Zenesis concept is awesome and I have no regrets (as a matter of fact I'm still enthralled with my mini). With every new concept there is a period of adjustment to perfect and work out the little glitches associated with first generation manufactured products. I consider myself fortunate that I am part of this "adjustment" period because I am getting in on the ground floor of a new direction in personal vaporizers. That's my; don't be so hard on yourself Zen~ our problems are relatively miner considering that we are getting ready to make the carto/atty a relic in the APV market.

Actually I am just waiting for Zen to see this - I have been posting about it for a while and I am not really in the mood to explain it to yet another person.
I know I don't have my Zenesis yet, so you can take it with a grain of salt. I am saying this based on my own research and the information I was able to gather trying to write an article about the genesis.
For people who are vaping sludge like I do, I am going to let you in on a few tricks from someone who only vapes 100% VG with out dillution and uses SS Mesh wicks. Take about 1/4" less material then zen~ used in his 325. Also cut the little angle on the top. Do a couple of extra burns on the torch with the vg. Everything else is exactly as zen said.
100% VG pretty much needs a 305 to 307 mesh to reproduce ideal capalary action, at least according to the math I was doing for aerogel wicks![]()
Basicaly rolling the wick slightly looser will allow it to carry enough liquid fast enough with out over filling. it the reason for the extra burns is to junk it up a bit more, because you don't have the ideal capalary size and you are trying to utilize the space in between the turns of the roll, and the junk is going to help the wicking alot.
You guessed wrong... It shipped today... I just haven't quite figured put which delivery confirmation is yours.
tcolley65,
Mr White was offering magnets to all that wanted them. Just PM him.
Wouldn't it be simpler to stop pouring salt into the wound?
