You definitely don't want to remove the insulator. Some people, and some APVs don't use them, but if you got it, use it. Do what tybin says and tighten up the wick before you push it through the insulator. You'll get it to work.

Hi gang I can't believe I have to bug you guys again for some HELP! Remember the issue from yesterday? The insulator had fallen down into the tank and I was trying to get the tank off? And I GOT the tank off....cleaned everything (I watched Murdock's video) and was getting ready to put it back together, wick and coil it.....well.

I don't know how to keep the insulator in place? When I put it back in the hole it doesn't stay there when I start putting the wick into the hole. Does the insulator go onto the wick first....then place it in the hole?

Did I see where someone removes the insulators (I don't remember who that was)? If I don't put the insulator back in...will it cause shorts?

Ok, let me ask you....what is going to keep the insulator from slipping back out and into the tank of juice again? That's my question. How do I keep it in place? The wick doesn't touch the bottom...so that won't keep it from moving up and down, right?

Also, what does the insulator do? Let me rephrase that...if I DON'T put it back in...how will that effect the performance negatively?

Thanks, but it wasn't my idea. Saw it here on the thread before I ever got my first Zenesis...not sure who posted it or who's idea it was but it's a damned good one.

It was suppose to be tonight... Sept 17th was the date I kept seeing. But I think Zen came on and same more like Sept 21 ... if I remember correctly.

I use that one in my car and then i have a ksmith stand and a desk caddy/stand from katz for the house

I have to get one of those nice stands.
