The BAMs will ship with 2 fat wicks and 1 will be installed without the insulator. However, an insulator will be included with the BAM extras.

It's possible that Zen had some other anodized APV's wick holes anodized, but he has never said that they would be......guess we will have to wait and see.........he also never mentioned including fat wicks with them...........but they could very well be........

Um, I just eyeball it. Unroll one of the Zen wicks to see the size. Sorry.

I may get crap for this, but you can unroll a Zen wick, and roll it right over another one, then keep rolling to tighten it up.

OK - thanks. I just thought you might have done that when you said yours are 3x the size of the pre-rolled ones.

Okay... Who's a ZAU specialist? The ZAU won't fire on any PV. Other attys do. When I mount it on the Provari and push the buttons just the right number of times, the Prov says "OP"... There are no numbers on there. When I use a multimeter on the ZAU the meter read a number of 2.1... There is some kind of connection not being made inside the atty. I never read of this, or maybe I did before I had a ZAtty and didn't pay any attention. Someone?

Wow, ggruss, the ZAU is the only Zen I own and I've never had that problem. Because of my "newness" I had a heck of a time getting it up and running, as you know....but not that particular problem. I don't know why I even posted....LOL. Sorry.

Well, I did want to tell everyone to have a good time at VC! I'm so happy you are all going and getting to meet each other!

Later :)

Check your posi screw and negative screw....make sure your coil isn't popped or broken somewhere. "OP" means open.

My ZAP did that very thing 2 days ago. The negative screw had come loose. Try tightening the screws.

EDIT: Where are you measuring with the multimeter? Between the screws or on the bottom?

About 18-20mm......if you want a solid wick with no hole in the middle then about 40mm rolled tight will fit with the insulator still inserted.

Yeah, that number sounds about right. After using a more solid wick, I could never go back to one of the pre rolled ones.

If you probed the center pin of the connector and the threads/or body of the ZAU and the MM reads 2.1, would indicate the ZAU has continuity. But since it won't fire on any PV, seems to indicate the center pin in the connector isn't contacting the PV to complete the circuit. Any chance the center pin is stuck 'in' and not protruding enough to make contact w/ the PV.

I had that thought, Mike. I prodded at the center pin with a 10ga needle and it does slide in and out.
