Just went back and read the first 20 pages or so of this thread (dunno why I never did before). It's amazing how much has changed in a year. Oh and Ceebs custom vapercon 2011 is bad azz.

Booked a room for Vapebash WOOT had such a good time at VC2 so I figured I would go again.

I just have a quick question?!?! I was lucky enough to buy a Zenesis Sidewinder from someone here and he has informed me that it was bought at Vaporcon and has not has the Update kit as of yet.. If I am not the original buyer of this mod how do I go about getting the kit for the Sidewinder. Thanks!!!
Are you going to receive the sidewinder packaging? If I were in your shoes, I would try and order one from HoH, put your forum name in the comments, explain that you bought it from a member who purchased it at vapercon but never ordered the update. I would also put that member's name in the comments. Offer to provide a photo with you and the device and the packaging if requested to prove you actually need the update kit.
Thank you do much. That's pretty much what I was thinking I would have to do but I just wanted to make sure. I have not yet received the device yet so I think I'm going to wait until its actually with me before doing anything. I did write HoH an email about this situation last night so I'll see what they say. Thanks again.
I think you should be fine. The whole intent was to prevent sending update kits to people who don't legitimately need them.
