Received my Mini#43 on Friday. Wanted to try it out for a few days before commenting.

This thing rocks. Everyone on the list won't be disappointed. The quality and finish is absolutely stunning. I get plenty of vapor, flavor and TH. It took about 1.5 tanks for it to break in, which didn't take to long.

I use 100% VG juice and been using the pre installed wick #400 and its been wicking great. I normally don't chain vape but when I do get a dry hit. I just flip it upside down for a few seconds and its good to go. Might try the #325 later.

Cleaning it is a breeze. Its not very hard to figure out how to clean it. Just take everything apart and do a quick rinse. Just be gentle putting the quart tank back on. As I was sliding the tank back on, it tilted a little and chipped the edge. The tank still works but might need to get a replacement.

There is the issue with the bottom button but Zen has already address the issue, so this is not a problem. Also when I leave my mini laying on its side it does leak from the air hole, to solve this problem just leave the air hole facing up.

When I put it in my pocket I just make sure to unscrew the button a few turn and it won't fire. This thing has a lot of thread so you don't have to worry about the button falling off. I did notice that the top cap would snap off when its in my pocket. It really isn't to much of a problem for me but IMO it wouldn't make it pocket friendly.

The draw is more airy than I'm used too but after a few days, I'm used to it and don't mind. Still might upgrade to the tighter draw.

I love this thing. Now only if I can get a Atty-P :)

They fit PERFECTLY and they WORK too. Two of the XTAR spacers equals one Pila Spacer. It takes four XTAR spacers to adapt to the 18350 battery on one side.

Here's a review of the 2 bay XTAR. She just bought the 6 bay XTAR also:

XTAR WPII Battery Charger - YouTube

I own two XTAR chargers for my 18350 batteries:
1) WP2 at home, 2 spacers came with it and I bought another 2.
2) MP2 at work/car, this is great charger if you always have a usb port available.

They are cheap and do a good job.

I'm leaving for China in two weeks...I had hoped I would have a Zenesis for the trip. :(

But taking the last two weeks off to do Visas, testing, and physicals (along with taxes and everything else around here before I go) has drained my accounts again. Granted, I'll have the missed time made up by the time I get back at the end of May, but that doesn't fix my problem right now....Zenesis withdrawal!

China !?! That's awesome!!! unless you don't want to go. I would imagine there is a decent bonus for making that trip too :)

I appreciate the reviews, and at this point, I can concur. My standard is a great vape. Of course, those taking the time and making the effort to post reviews and pics are most often active members of this community.

For people who wonder how the Zenesis performs, I think that what you don't see is just as telling as what you do. Specifically, with 100+ units in production, I think we've had 1 Zenesis in the classifieds and a few more change hands. The total number by my count anyway, is far less than 10%, really, closer to 5%.

To bring a Gen Atty APV to market, sell it to many people with no Gen Atty experience whatsoever, and have that kind of success rate is truly a remarkable accomplishment.

Got my new replacement tank and so had a chance to play.

I took one of zens wicks, inserted a small paperclip all the way thru, and rolled it down to size. Took some wire and tempered it first. Inserted the wick with the paperclip in there and cut it to size. Wrapped the coil with paperclip in place. I learned this from the line. Works perfect with no shorts.

Made my own black ice (til I get some of zens) and had the most satisfying vape I have ever had. Vapor production is ridiculous. And throat hit, which has been problematic at 12 mg, led me to say "whoa." Flavor is great. I am so happy, unbelievable that I can get a great vape....in fact the best I've had after one and a half years...at 3.7 v.

Thanks Zen. If any crticism at all...would be weight (which I knew) and touchy bottom button. Overall unbelievable.

Somebody help......can't seem to upload pic from phone on tapatalk. Says not logged in or no privileges.

Yeah... it was a risky move... And thanks for the compliment!

There have been three in the classifieds for sale since December... two were Aluminum early versions that sold really fast... then a SS went up and sold in 2 minutes.

A few people had issues getting theirs going, but the vast majority have quickly become the "go-to" all day vape that people were hoping they would be.

I'm really confident with the ones that are about to ship. I think we will, of course, have a few people on here asking for help when they arrive... but the experience level amongst the Zenfidels has grown exponentially, and instead of having a few folks that can lend a hand... there are literally dozens of people in here with experience now.

And that number will continue to grow and grow.

The Mesh/Coil rebuildable atomizer is no longer going to be a dark and hidden outpost reserved for the tweakers and tinkerers. It's for everybody that wants to experience the next level of vapor production.

Didn't realize the current button caused the Zenesis to stand so off kilter. Next to the ProVari makes it look that much more obvious. Glad Zen~ has a fix in the works.

The PV is literally "floating" on a magnetic gap... And with that button it does tip to the side.

With the new button it stands like the proud soldier that it is!

Alright, I need some help.

I've had a scubagen atty for some time, and the continual metal flavor and harsh vape never endeared me to it much. I saw a Zenesis at VaperCon and was sad to have missed out on getting one. It really is well machined beautiful.

I love all my other rebuildable atties. I want to love this. But so far I find, using the wick and coil that came with it, that it wicks horribly, is far far too harsh a vape for me, has unimpressive vapor, and is very very hard for my carpal tunnel (or a little diabetic neuropathy) hands to active. I have to use two hands to get any decent activation.

I had someone on my vapetv show notice that the middle coil on was not glowing like the top and bottom. I have moved that a bit with a pin to make it glow more when activated, but it does take a while for them to glow.

I started with 70pg/30vg juice and could maybe get one decent pull before the dratty (matty?) about killed me.

I'd like to think I'm not a total n00b, but what am I doing wrong here? Do I need to put the 325 wick in and redo-the coil? Does it need extra seasoning?

I know there are new switches coming.. in the meantime I put two magnetic spacers on the bottom, which helps a little. But it is still no where near as easy to activate as a P+ or a Megaladon or empire. Even though the switch looks beautiful. I did, on a recommendation, take the switch apart and make sure it was clean. awesome design there.

I keep having people ask me to review these, and I want to give it a fair shake, since its gorgeous and obviously well made and designed. But I'm starting to think these metal wick jobs are just not for me.
