....wishing i had still ordered 2 z-atty-pro's.....gonna have to wait for my 2nd..

I was considering getting one. But I have been considering selling my provari to help fund my zenesis addiction.

I am not saying it is for sale right now. So don't ask. But don't worry anything I plan on selling I will offer to my fellow zenfidels first.

Zen~, I was thinking. Do you think a screw with a flat top might make a better contact in the switch?

It doesn't... in fact, it makes the switch touchier.

The center of the screw I used basically gives you four points of SOLID contact, for a flat screw to be better it would need to hit the battery DEAD PARALLEL, otherwise you get a single and much smaller contact point at the edge of the screw.

In no way was I complaining, just throwing out ideas.

Besides...

Those four points leave a nice circle on my battery.

How can you point out a true zenfidel?

Look for the telltale circle on his/her battery.

I've been celebrating World Vaping Day by doing a final test of the new switch button... I really really like it!

I believe I will be sending entire switches to people for replacement for a couple of reasons...

1: I changed the magnet configuration slightly which makes it so all Switches will have magnets in them that allow for adjust-ability. There will be one large magnet that stays in the switch cap, and there will be two thin ones that oppose it... They will be shipped setup for maximum force... If you take ONE of the thin magnets, flip it over and put it on the switch cap... you will have medium force... if you remove the thin one entirely, you will have minimum force. Three settings from one set of magnets!

2: I like the idea of sending you a complete tested unit.

In addition to the full switch, I will be sending a spacer washer that can shorten the throw of the switch if you prefer a more immediate action.

There will be a pre-paid return envelope to send back your old switch, intact. I MUST get the return parts back as quick as possible.

I will post a "how to" video on switch adjustment and maintenance this weekend. These switches will ship to ALL STANDARD owners automatically, and then to any MINI owners that choose to make the change. MOST Mini owners have been happy with their switches, but if you have had problems the switch is available to you. If you are not having problems with your mini switch, please do not make the change just for the sake of it... this has been a REALLY expensive correction, and if you're not having problems, you won't suddenly develop them.

Zen,

I'm having problems with the switch coming apart from the base. And when the throw is where I want it, the PV like to fire when set down.

I bought my Mini #0031 off the classies. Is a replacement switch in the cards for me? ;)

Hey, chris. How's your coil been treating you? Is it doing better?

I wrapped two last night and nailed it on the second try. Of course, I had to fidget some more tonight and my current coil is pretty good. Just not good enough. I'm definitely getting the hang of it though.

And then I realized that my wick was squished closed at the top. A quick pin down the middle and this effer is creatin' CLOUDS! :D

Thanks!

So is anybody out there using 50/50 or higher VG content and chain vaping fine?

I tend to vape like a maniac for a few minutes at a time sporadically throughout the day so I'm hoping it'll stand up to my habits.

Edit because P =/= V.

I'm using 100% VG with 325 mesh and 4 wraps. Dry hits are not a problem when you get it set up correctly. If you're off a bit you might notice it, but It's easily corrected by moving the wire around until you have an even glow.

I decided to redo my wick as I felt that I had rolled it a little too tight and there just wasnt a hole running across the wick. SO I tried pulling out the wick and I figured it was stuck. I had to really pull it out hard, and when I did so, the plastic tubing (dont really know what specific material it is) around the wick came off along with the wick! On close observation, it seems like the material had melted and gotten stuck to the wick and just wouldn't come off. I had to tear out the wick from the top side bit by bit and then pulled it out from the other side. The tube is still intact and I have put it back and rolled a new wick using the paper clip method to retain the hole.

Has this happened to any of you?

Also, I am now curious, what material is the tube really made of? Is it not heat resistant enough to not melt?
