My Zenesis tank cracked today. :(

I had just cleaned it out, put it back together and was sitting at the kitchen table drying it when it slipped out of my hand and fell 3" to the table and cracked the tank. :( Talk about BUMMED.

Right now I think it's just a hairline crack because no juice is leaking out of it, so hopefully I can continue using it until I get a new one. I have been so careful with it too. I never stand it up unless it's in my PV holder because I didn't want it to fall over and break...and then I do this. :(

Grrrr....

I know some folks love it hot but I'd rather get beaten up in an alley than deal with those temperatures.

ME TOO! I'd choose a root canal with no Novocaine over Illinois HOT and MISERABLY HUMID summers. I have a feeling this summer is going to be a bad one too. We have already had two weeks of 80+ temps in March! I expect snow in March, not summer weather.

Ouch, thats got to hurt. Sorry to hear that.
I think it was stated that a 20mil syringe is the correct id/od & if cut to size will work till you can get a replacement.
But it sure seems like a lot of folks are having that problem

Hey Y'all,

I'm new to vaping--almost a month and a half only. However, I really love it and have not had a problem giving up the analogs. I'd like to advance to the more...I dunno...technical mods maybe? In other words, I want a Zenesis. I understand all lists are closed. What's my best bet once April rolls around? Just check this forum and the Zenesis site daily probably, no? :toast:

I got a couple of the new tanks from zen, and wow they are great they seem shinier and way smooth when you run your fingers across your PV. Before I could feel the edges not now. Very nice Mike. Hey have I told you lately that I LOVE MY MINI !!

Hi K! I need to get a tip for my Zene coming.. Which do you think would look the best on it?

To be fair rebuildables will always come up for resale no matter how well they are built, there's always some individuals that either don't have the patience to learn how to make them work right or don't have the physical ability to do so due to disability.

I loved my oddy until I got into zen mods and genesis atties.

Lol is sold what 4 or 5 oddy now.

Hi Hounds & WELCOME
Glad to hear your doing well with vaping & staying off the stinkies
You've come to the right place for an advanced PV. The Zenisis is the most advanced mechanical mod made and a great choice for anyone.
To get one just hang out with us crazy Zenfidels. The mods will be available to the general public sometime in April or May,
If you have any questions just ask, lots of good informed people here ready to help

I cracked my tank a few days ago cleaning out some menthol for some candy bar(good stuff, just can't use it all day)MAN!I was really bummed!I got to lookin around for a quick fix and spotted a unused 20ml syringe.I cut it to the right length with a dowel and pipe cutter for a smooth straight cut and it works a charm! Its not quite as tight as the quartz and is not as clear as the quartz,no leaking and very forgiving for a Klutz(me).I believe Zen has stated that the standard and the mini are the same diameter so it would work on either as a temporary tank.Jus throwing this out there(watching for slings and arrows):)

Hi K! I need to get a tip for my Zene coming.. Which do you think would look the best on it?

I just ordered a couple of The Ridgemont SS drip tips (which are made to fit the Zenesis) from kcos.
I think they will look beautiful on my Zenesis.
I'm a marchie for now. Soon to be a Zenfidel.
I'm praying for some good news tomorrow...........

I have managed NOT to break my quartz tank yet... but it apparently does't seem to take much to do so as proven by Viscan and some others. I am wondering how testing on the new ones with the ends annealed is going? Also, I want/NEED a backup tank(s) because I do not want to be without my mini. So I think there was an update that everyone was getting poly tanks as a backup (do I need to do anything?)... and when will tanks in general be available to purchase? Thanks!!!

Still on the fence about replacing the switch on my mini, until I get to see the new one in BlackBird's Standard when he gets it.

Everyone is being sent a new polished/tempered Fused Quartz and a polycarb backup tank. Zen has the new quartz in but is waiting for the polycarb tanks to be cut, I think. You don't have to do anything. Everyone is getting the tanks mailed to them.

I have no clue when they will be for sale on his site. I too plan to stock up on tanks. I don't trust myself to not break another one.

I'm having all sorts of problems with my switch. It doesn't like to fire all the time and it backs off the screw *all the time*. It's getting frustrating.

Has anyone had these problems?

I have read to tighten the screw by hand with a screwdriver. That should solve the unscrewing issue. also, there are new switches coming.
