I think the next ones that ship will be set at medium... Personally, My ham hock of a hand has no issues with high tension... but it just feels SO GOOD at medium!

I agree 100%, medium is where its at! I had no problem working it at max but the wife needed to use 2 hands to work it. She can use it at medium with minor effort. :)

I finally built myself a Mini... lol... It's built up out of parts that were marred or damaged in some way... any way, it's vaping up a storm and I have have the switch set for medium tension... feels great to me, never misfires... I'm pleased with it!

Haha....that's what I need....a spare part Zenesis....about all I can afford ATM! (damn Chinese NRC pushing our start date back again!!)

riddle, some of those modders you have listed in signature are not ecf modders. credit where credit is due

That's incorrect....

All of the mods I have purchased from them....were made WHILE they were ECF MODDERS. There is a reason that is in my signature...and one that I will not discuss in my buddies thread.

Oh yeah...and let's not forget I almost got banned for giving credit where it was due...but I still give it.

Yay, I got my #70 standard today and the wick is already broken in. I'm happy with the new switch and it stand straight. I can't wait to get my mini and TI. Well, I have to wit some more til that time come, I'll be rocking my standard.

By the way Zen, I blame you for all my nic OD lately. I have to lower my nic because this thing rocks and I can't put it down.

ok.

a couple of questions.

first, I cannot seem to get the very bottom coil to stay firmly wrapped against the wick. It seems like as I wrap, for some reason that one wants to come away from the wick. It still fires up and as I hold the button they will all glow, but the bottom is always the last to do it.

I have poked and can get it to stop shorting, but it will have a little space there. Does that matter?

Second, and more importantly, I am curious about draw and draw speed.

Traditionally, with the attys I used, I would take hard, short draws to get the best flavor. It seems like with these devices really slow methodical pulls are the best.

In fact, the most intense flavor comes from firing it up for a couple of seconds before pulling at all and then doing it. Of course, this creates more condensation in the cap, but seems to be the best flavor.

thoughts?

Here are the tank sizes if you want to buy polycarbonate tubing:

Mini is 3/4" ID and 1" tall (febbies are 1 1/16")

Standard is 3/4" ID and 1 5/16" tall (so are febbies)

If you shop Amazon, they have it. If you order early, you could have it tomorrow. I have some being delivered tomorrow with a pipe cutter. I'm hoping to have a tank for my Zenesis tomorrow and about 17 spares. :)

At Amazon, 24" for $10.53.

great minds think alike. I ordered this same one I think. being delivered today. I think I got the last one from those guys!

I guess tomorrow, I just checked the order. I guess I need a pipe cutter too :)

Thanks! I measured mine and I guess one of the differences between mine and the production model is it requires a 1-1/2" in length. I'm just going to make a temporary one from a syringe for now. I have a friend that is going to send me some polycarbonate in a couple days. Thanks again!

OK, I have a couple questions....

When I put the trustfire batteries in it the battery cover switch thingy doesn't thread on all the way... Will this cause it to misfire? It's not misfiring but I want to be sure it wont.

I took the switch apart and the magnets flew across the room and killed my dog.

Is this normal?

I never had this problem with my V4L

My tank broke completely last night when I tried to rotate it. I can't live without my Zenesis, so DIY came to mind.
Surely I can cut a polycarb tube with a tube cutter. :) I ordered too late for delivery today, so I'll get mine tomorrow. I'm now vaping a tasteless Stardust on my Lavatube and eGo-T...ugh. The difference in flavor is unbelievable.

Congrats on getting your Standard and Mini!
