OK, I have a couple questions....

When I put the trustfire batteries in it the battery cover switch thingy doesn't thread on all the way... Will this cause it to misfire? It's not misfiring but I want to be sure it wont.

I took the switch apart and the magnets flew across the room and killed my dog.

Is this normal?

I never had this problem with my V4L

Just get a GG, these things are way too complicated!

.

Ok, first things first... Make sure that batt is fully charged, then take a bandsaw.. Or if you don't have one of those handy you can use a hacksaw... Emphasis on the Hack....you will want to remove the pcb circuit....just hack it right off... Then the dog thing ..... This is perfectly normal... I have lost 2 dogs, 3 cats, a turtle, 6 alpaca's, 1 and a half emu's, and a mountain lion...

But the loss gets easier....

I'm sorry for your loss...

You were right... once I hacked off the PCB it fits perfectly... but I didn't throw away the PCB... I stuffed it under the top cap... all the way in... it tightened up the draw a lot, plus there's still a protection circuit in my PV... so I feel a whole lot safer.

So far I'm really impressed with the performance...

one thing though... My Tuna Colada juice tastes like fish now...

Where is a "puke" smiley when you need one? Tuna Colada is possibly the worst combo I've ever heard! :nah:

Then you will be appalled to know I actually mixed that last year on April Fools Day...

Ruined a bunch of cartos for my nearest and dearest friends... It tasted exactly like vomiting up a tuna fish sandwich...

EXACTLY!

Zen. Will the o ring trick work with the mini switch?
I can't try, it's not with me.
It worked great on the standard.
If I ever send it in for a update, it'll be after all the dust settles...

It will work if not getting enough throw was the issue...

Oh yeah, by the way... I can't remember who managed to get a battery magnet stuck in their positive connector... but just leave it there... it won't do any harm

I am posting this as it may help others on FEBUARY LIST ONLY
I received my mini but after about 10 minutes of use the button had almost came off. I figured it just got overlooked and hell I can fix that. I took it apart and re-assembled it and tightened the contact screw until it was close to bottoming out then backed it up just a little. Since that time it fired but nothing stayed the same with the coil, shorts, not glowing, glowing then stop, ect.. . I read about problems that others were having on the standard yet the mini only had wobbly issues so i figured my switch should be good. Zen posted a repair for the standard switch using an o ring which I thaught was much better idea then maring the threads on something that screwed into ss. I cut very small piece just to ensure the screw could'nt loosen again. I battled with coil making for a month with no success and this is not my only genesis mod, yah i'm at my wits end. So last night I screwed the contact screw back out and bam it works properly, I just can't stand it up or it fires. I am sure if I fiddled more I could fix that too, thats my experience and I hope it might help someone else. I could be the last dummy to figure out why it's not working. If my grammer sucks, it's cause my english sucks and it's all mixed with spanish so best i can do.

That was me. :D So glad to hear it won't hurt anything because it's there to stay.

Well of course this is normal. You unleashed the mystical forces contained in the switch. I believe that there is a disclaimer or instructional video somewhere nearby that shows the proper handling of the magnets to prevent the unpredictable release of these forces into your environment. You are lucky that the Zen spirits chose to take your dog instead of you this time as they tend to prefer the larger spiritual release of a human soul to that of an animal.

I hope you understand that for reasons beyond anyone's control, the death of your dog is not covered under the Zenisis warranty, but I will glady replace the dog with 2 cats. This should help shield you in the event that you improperly release these forces again in that since cats are know to walk beween this world and the next, the magnets will be drawn to them and will gently place themselves at the feet of these cats.

I feel for your loss, but please remember. The Zenesis is an Advanced Personal Vaporizer and I cannot fully explain to you the inner workings of it's core in this forum as this would take much more than the 5000 word limit on posts. There may or may not be a Wiki article that will help to explain this further.

Now, for the safety of everyone on earth and the other civilizations in the universe you are heretofore banned from owning a Zenesis Dragon as unleashing those forces with the disregard you have shown may result in a time/space rift so powerful that it may spontaneously spawn random black holes throughout the known universe for an unknowable amount of time. Please understand that this is in fact not only for your own good, but for the good of all.

Your V4L never did this because it does not have the powers of good and evil imbued in its design and so is safer in this respect, but can not deliver the satisfaction of the Zenesis for obvious reasons.

Thank you for your patronage. The cats are being blessed now and should arrive by courier in the morning. Please do not attempt to open your switch again until they arrive.
