Very nice, I needed a new background image Zenesis.
Maybe it's just me, but if Wiley Coyote and the Road Runner had a kid that was sprinting very fast wouldn't it look like that from that angle?
Maybe I vaped too much today?

Then you're not being fair to the people who have purchased at that level and are in fact devaluing their mods, would you sell a Shelby at the 1960's list price? This is a .com here, it is for commercial purposes and I think it hypocritical not to respect the law of supply & demand, especially on a country founded on that principle.......
I understand and agree with both of your points in principle as applied to the broader market(s) of the world. In my opinion, internet forums based around specific interests - model planes, cigars, Beanie Babies, and vaping, for example - are not microcosms of such broader markets primarily because they are NOT founded upon commercial enterprise. They are founded upon shared interests, the sharing of knowledge, and the building of community. A lot of people who visit such forums are either complete novices or have quite limited experience. I suspect the vast majority of us fit that description at some point. And since almost anyone can buy items in the classifieds section almost immediately, it's easy to take advantage of beginners and these areas are ripe for abuse.
The usual response to my argument (which I have made elsewhere in similar scenarios) is "Caveat emptor" but my counter-response remains the same: this and most similar forums are NOT, first and foremost, marketplaces. In fact, this forum has extremely strict rules about who can sell what and how they can do it in almost every area except for price gouging and profiteering on the Classifieds. It is my belief that since ECF allows a seller to price any item at any price then they should also allow buyers and potential buyers to discuss those prices.
The game as it stands here on ECF is severely tilted towards the sellers who get to post anything at any price while nobody else in "the market" (such as the buyers) can say a peep, so the seller can just wait for some sap to come along and buy. IMNSHO, that straight up sucks. If you want the Wild West that's fine - let's have the Wild West. But DON'T CENSOR THE CLASSIFIEDS. Let free speech reign and allow us to post opinions. It's always struck me as odd that ECF is so zealously protective about some things and so completely the opposite about others.

There coming along and should have them before too long! I'm on the list for the U and the G, and looking forward to them as well.
I have designs on putting mine on one of my heaver woods.Just haven't decided which one yet.
I remember about a year and a half ago, people posting in the classifieds that they would pay over 200 dollars for a rio mini or grand... and over 300 for an Ali i'... I've also sen hard to get GG parts and PVs selling for 3X what they sold for originally.
And if somebody wants to put a "wanted to buy" ad for that amount, then that's up to them. It's their money.
While I am flattered that somebody is willing to pay 100 bucks MORE than I charge for a PV, I truly feel that if somebody is SO impatient that they would pay a premium to own one, then I benefit by the perception that these have INCREDIBLE resale value.
But there were a dozen people trying to help him get that working... And he lacked the patience to work through it. And of that dozen, I'm pretty sure over HALF of them would have GLADLY given him the money to take it off his hands and I offered him a full refund, because it was clear he was just miserable with the thing... his response was "I'm not giving up yet... I'll get it working"
I view this as spitting in the face of the community that tried to help him...
That being said... it's his PV... he is welcome to dispose of it in any way he chooses.
The day will come when we see a $750.00 Titanium Standard in the Classifieds... Brace yourself for it.

While all this is true and well worded, you will most certainly never see my Zentanium on the classifieds for any price.
I was just wishing for something like this yesterday! After I get my Z-Atty-U and Ti...I need a stand that will hold all four. This is GREAT news! I'm so glad I didn't buy something else.
