quick question - someone a while ago on this thread mentioned the BAM does not come with the carrying case, however, the website FAQ says every APV comes with one - did I miss something in the show last night? not a big deal but I was really looking forward to having a traveling case for the BAM.

Good question. I was wondering the same thing about the carrying case. Hopefully Zen can clarify.

quick question - someone a while ago on this thread mentioned the BAM does not come with the carrying case, however, the website FAQ says every APV comes with one - did I miss something in the show last night? not a big deal but I was really looking forward to having a traveling case for the BAM.

I was under the impression that the BAM, being a limited APV, will not come with a case, quartz tank, or magnetic switch. They will come with a spring switch and a poly-carbonate tank.

Zen said these changes were made to keep the price below $200.

chris change your coil... your wick will last a month or more.... you have not used it enough to need a wick changing if you have never replaced the coil. my wick is over a month old now and going stronger than ever, unless you are using some sludgey stuff then you are lucky if you get 2-3 weeks out of it

And there we go. I wrapped a new coil and everything is back to normal.

that makes sense - i wish i had seen that somewhere, but i suppose i have plenty of time to pick up one of those cheap ego cases - i just assumed it was under 200 due to the polycarbonate and aluminum casing instead of SSteel and Quartz

haha, good plan. i will definitely pick up a case if it does not come with one. i am clumsy and travel a lot - i didn't spend 199 on an APV just to have it get all banged up or, God forbid, break simply because i don't have a case for it. plus, it would be nice to have something i can keep all the accessories/batts in one central place. think of all the xtra space the ego case will have now that i won't need 5 backup atomizers

I think he needs to make changes to the FAQ. The Zenesis Standard and Mini do come with cases, but to keep the cost down to $199 on the BAM, he's not including a case with it.
