I like your avatar, quynhwil. Do you keep aquariums? Is that your crystal red shrimp?
Yes, I use to breed alot of crystal shrimp higher grade too. But I gave them up because of work. I had over 100 tanks fish, shrimp and crawfish. different type. I'm down to only 20 tank with fish only. Smaller tanks, Biggest is 75G. mostly breeder tanks.

LOL the zentaniums basically are a limited zenesis

I was wondering if the Dragon would be the same size as the 2011 limited but made out of titanium. Since he said it is not titanium, that is not what it will be.

Now, I think the Dragon will be a more affordable version of the 2011 limited. Made in aluminum with various anodized sections and at least a 12ml tank.

I was the same way... Then I started participating on TotalVapingNetwork. I'
ve won juice, a DOD kit, and an HH.357. Of course, TVN is "free" to participate, so there's that...

Raffles are a great way to maintain a kitty for future prizes, web hosting, etc. I can't fault kcos. Participate if you want to, don't otherwise.

I'm another one of those "never win anything" peeps.... and yet I've won a juce sampler package 2 weeks in a row. 1 from Anthony at juivy vapor last week, and yesterday, one from James at Kalamazoo yesterday... ya don't win if ya don't try

Would it be possible to create a side-by-side PV that has battery on one side and Gen Atty on the other.

It not only would be possible, but THAT is in the works as we speak... but it won't be until next year.

But I love it when a man thinks outside the box, by thinking about a box!

The speculation about the Dragon is endlessly entertaining for me. I'm not sure I can add much more to that, but I know at least one thing I would really like.

The Zenjector is a great idea. It's far better than having to carry around a Hypo needle--even a large gauge version.

Better still would be to not have to need any sort of equipment to fill the tank, save for a bottle of juice. THAT would be a breakthrough. I don't know if that is even remotely possible in future versions of Zen's PVs, but that would be a real winner for me.

Also, along those same lines,I don't know if the form factor of a Genesis atty device really NEEDS to be a tube mod. If you're starting from scratch, there's no need to stack the atty on top of the battery. In some ways, it doesn't make much sense at all. You need to get the power to the top of the juice tank, as opposed to a standard carto tank that needs the power below the tank, where the carto screws in.

It's a workaround to run the power through the juice to the top of the atty. Would it be possible to create a side-by-side PV that has battery on one side and Gen Atty on the other. A sidewinder, for lack of a better term. That would give us a completely different form factor than a rather long tube with a bit of breakable material near the top.

Just a couple of thoughts, though not as entertaining as some of the conjecture here. Just some ideas this thread has made me think about.

This sounds interesting...

That is awesome news. As you know, I am a REO person. There's certainly something to be said for that basic form factor. That will be a really cool PV....can I get on the list for that one?

DUAL MESH/COIL for DRAGON BREATH ;)

NEVER EVER EVER will I make a dual coil version...

Dual Coils are DANGEROUS beyond all belief, and even DC cartos a disaster waiting to happen.

I feel this is one area of safety has has not been adequately addressed, and in many ways I believe it may be the root cause of the increasing number of battery explosion accidents.

I have seen posts about Battery Safety and Tube Mod safety, but a large contributing factor which will rapidly compound the issue is "Load" safety.

A Little history which helps to demonstrate my point:

A little over 15 months ago, the introduction of Low Resistance cartomizers and atomizers occurred, and with that introduction, eCigs became a LOT less safe. Suddenly the old reliable eGos and 510s started experiencing failures that were not common before the intoduction of lower resistance loads... the PVs failed because the load was too great, causing the circuitry in these PVs to fail. These failures protected the users, in many cases, against their will.

The reason for the failure is because the Load Resistance dictates how much current will be delivered to atomizer/cartomizer.

This has driven many eCig users away from electronic and regulated eCigs into the realm of mechanical Mods with batteries that will deliver the current needed to utilize these lower resistance loads. As we all know, a single battery PV with an LR load is relatively safe, but the quest for higher performance has led us down a path into areas that are far more disconcerting.

A little less than a year ago, Dual Coil cartomizers appeared on the scene and with them, an entirely new series of safety issues. These loads not ONLY have a low resistance, but they have the capacity to sink a HUGE amount of current into them without failing. This is because each coil of the load has the capacity to handle DOUBLE the voltage, or more, than a single coil of the same aggregate resistance. In other words, a 1.5 Ohm single coil carto handles far less power than a 1.5 Ohm Dual coil, due to the dual coil have TWO 3 Ohm coils in parallel....

To a battery with a low current delivery capability, A Dual Coil Carto represents a HOSTILE load, attempting to pull far more current from the battery than it can safely deliver.

These new cartomizers have taken the vaping community by a storm. Suddenly, the Good Old Standard, the ProVari is sending error messages to it's users, and they have demanded a Higher Current delivery version... The PV is PROTECTING itself from this hostile load, and the end users are saying "NO WAY... I need more current"

This has driven even MORE members of the vaping community to the realm of mechanical PVs, but now with stacked batteries because these Cartomizers perform better at these higher voltages...

And the most likely battery to stack in a metal tube designed for an 18650?

Yep... the readilly available, and potentially lethal 16340 (Aka CR123a). Unfortunately there are a variety of Low C versions of these batteries on the market at bargain basement prices.

BOOM

I believe that we have only seen the tip of the iceberg with this issue, and the warnings issued that I have seen have fail to mention that a battery, in all likelihood WILL NOT fail unless there is a load attached to it, and the size of that load can really matter.

I believe that the proliferation of Dual coil, and now Triple coil cartos is the tipping point that is going to set off an epidemic of these devastating failures. As the size of the load increases, the danger increases exponentially! The same is true for dual coils in a Genesis Atty

It's true that cheap batteries stacked in an unvented PV is a recipe for disaster... but the risk increases by a huge margin once the hostile load of a dual coil load is introduced to the equation.

It's true that single cell and High C batteries are much safer... but the introduction of a second coil is flirting with disaster.

That's cool. I never got that deep into it, but still had to give it up due to space considerations... Currently living in a 1 bedroom apartment with 0 extra space unfortunately. After we buy our house it's definitely something I want to start again.

Dragon Hint...

The Dragon will be larger, and lighter than the Zenesis Standard.

I'm guessing a fused Ti/LVM 26650 hybrid PV with quick change kanthal connectors.

***edit post ***
Obviously, I'm a day late and a dollar shorten the guess, lol. I completely forgot that Zen said it will definitely not be Ti.

Scratch that guess :)

ok so here I am to stir up the hornets nest again I got a few things to say....
1st off to ZEN. my frankenatty was fixed because of you sir and the help from the others thank you all!!!!
2nd why did I make it to begin with? well its like this....why does a dog lick himself cause he can!....
3rd another reason I made it was to prove that the ZENISIS is the top dog. the whole line up from mini and on up has been thought out for US! Zen covered all that there is NO fighting no figuring out wick sizes, diameters etc etc YOU ALL KNOW THIS..MY REASONING WAS NOT TO MAKE ANYONE FEEL INTIMIDATED BY ASKING QUESTIONS I HAD NO ANSWERS TO
4th I was sick of the way my cartomisers were eating my wallet!
now I have an acceptable vape till I get my KILLER VAPE IN MARCH! This is my 1st rebuildable atty and I made it sure its ghetto but it will serve me till I get my ZEN!!!
to all who read this do not let my EXPERIMENT make you feel or think that you will not succeed with your ZEN he has made them to be A MAJOR SUCCESS!!!!! THATS WHY HE HAS MY MONEY AND WILL GET MORE.

+1000000!!

This needs to be stickied and put on the front page of the forum so that many a hapless vaper that goes on about seeking performance with no regards to safety or design limits will see it and save themselves a fireball in the face!

That could be it... but probably not... I rather enjoy your endless babbling! :p

This doesn't fit the Zenesis Concept... The Zenesis Concept is to provide a single device for all-day vaping with the absolute minimum form factor.

I love Pipes! I love wood! I love the form factor of pipes! The Dragon isn't a pipe.

The Dragon, Mini, Standard and Ti will all vape equally well. You don't have to worry that I'm holding back a magic atomizer that will suddenly make your new Zenesis into a dinosaur over night. With the exception of the Ti, the differences in these PVs are all about how much juice they will hold, and having the correct battery to be able to use ALL or MOST of the juice in the tank before needing to change the battery.

A guy that vapes a small amount of juice per day will be happy with the Mini... a little more.. the standard... MUCH more... tha Dragon... if you vape more than the Dragon can hold... you might consider carrying a mini with you as well!

The Dragon WILL have a few more features... and SOME of those features MAY be retrofitted to the standard and the Mini when the features are introduced.

Another point I want to make is that I HATE when a manufacturer makes an improvement right after I own something... I HATE that! For that reason I've offered to TAKE BACK Aluminum Standards if you want a Stainless instead... And the EARLIEST Zenesis PVs that had the "pin" positive connection are upgraded FREE to the new design...

And if you have an Aluminum Standard with a POLY tank... you can send it in for a FREE upgrade to Quartz when things calm down a bit...

So relax... I want the same things that you want, possibly even more! I can't turn a Mini into a Standard for you... And I can't turn any of them into a Dragon or a Ti... But I can make sure that you don't end up with an obsolete PV if I can possibly help it!

Fair enough?

ok. so I lied before. this is the best post ever.

I too hate when you buy something and a short time later, a better version comes out. I have always appreciated dealing with people who are willing to go back and "retrofit" what you just purchased earlier. This is a true sign of excellent customer service.

I think the key here is that Zen is obeying the golden rule. Treat others as you would want to be treated. If everyone applied this to their business, and in general, I guarantee the world would be a better place. It is really a simple solution that everyone can follow.

I have not been here today, because on my one day off in a two week period, I have been running around since 9am this morning buying/returning/buying/returning the exact correct HEPA air room cleaners for my GF who just found out she is deathly allergic to dust mites. She better NEVER flip me crap again that I am not a good BF.

Lastly, does anyone else feel as though even though they do not REALLY know him except for one video and his posts, that they literally love Zen more than a good chunk of their family members?

maybe it is just me. I can be sappy at times. :)

ok i got another dragon guess for the today.....

zen mentioned something about not being a VV but versatility. so im guessing it has either a telescopic battery section or an interchangeable battery sleeve to use different battery sizes from 26650 to maybe a 18350 by also using some inner sleeve to prevent rattle?

on the duel coil/ hostile load...
I built my pass through to mess with Duel coils , HV,VV, and whatever the next crazy thing is. It has also cut my use of batteries down quite a bit. I was very surprised when I started vaping at the lack of ready made quality PT's . I am not talking about nonsense usb stuff. No market demand? Is it the cord?

Anyone wanna buy (48) 3.0 ohm dual coil cartos? :( Now I'm REALLY paranoid! Time to break out the old Boge 2.0 cartos!

I've been surviving on 3.0 dual coil carto/tanks (which I don't like, BTW, but there are ZERO 3.0 SINGLE coil cartos to be had) until I get my Stardusts...which have been roaming around the Chicago area for the last three days...LOST in the mail system. The Stardusts are suppose to help me survive until my Zenesis gets here. They better be as good as everyone says they are! Always, always chasing the vape. I really want to get off this carto/tank/clearomizer/atomizer/Fluxomizer/Mega Carto roller-coaster. I NEED my Zenesis.

I think rather than guessing specific details, you should all be asking a more important question.

which dragon does this device take inspiration from?

***Famous Dragons in History***
these?

http://www.dragonorama.com/famous/literature.html
these?

http://www.dragonorama.com/famous/movies.html
these?

http://www.dragonorama.com/oriental/chinese.html
these

http://www.dragonorama.com/oriental/japanese.html
these?

there were more but it was getting ridiculous :)

Puff the Magic Dragon?
Pete's Dragon? (a lot of you will not remember this one. pete was his name)

This is the real question we should be trying to answer.
