on the duel coil/ hostile load...
I built my pass through to mess with Duel coils , HV,VV, and whatever the next crazy thing is. It has also cut my use of batteries down quite a bit. I was very surprised when I started vaping at the lack of ready made quality PT's . I am not talking about nonsense usb stuff. No market demand? Is it the cord?

I think you hit the nail on the head with the portability issue. PTs are great if you're at a desk all day, but if you're out and about they really don't make much sense. I built one as well using an old laptop PSU. I rarely use it now even though I am at a desk all day... The cord just gets in the way.
