Screw spacer

Without magnet after spacer removed

Note: the plastic in the bottom cap is the same size the screw spacer is just thinner on the mini I believe.

I could leave the screw spacer in but the button has more play and is further apart. Whatever works for u though and whichever batt u are using.

did you do the whole drip juice on them and pulse thing zen talked about?

Yep .. doing it by the book! It still takes awhile .. and once you think "ah ha, it is now broken in" - it will still sneak up and smack you upside the head every now and then.

Think Zen said it takes about a full day to get em right.

So let's talk about the spacer on the standard vs no spacer on the mini...

The mini is designed to fit one battery... The amount of throw needed is completely predictable and constant.

The standard requires a longer throw to accommodate the 1600 batteries... They are .7 mm shorter on average, but not as an absolute. The button is harder to push because the standard has more powerful magnets to deal with the longer throw.

I didn't want to say "stick a magnet on it" but if that's what you choose to do I suppose that will work.

Serpent, all the tanks are quartz.

Without the spacer ring on the screw it was not long enough to make contact with the batt. I had to use a magnet...

Yeah, I'm now doing the same with 1600 mAh batt ... the spacer is, well, meh. The button sticks way and wobbles a bit, seems to work so much better using a mag spacer on the bottom of the batt instead.

I'm on page 500!!!!

Nice work Pchela, you're a quick study!! I don't know if I've made it that far... Started out reading it backwards, but quickly realized that was not gonna work.. I think I'm around page 420, but I keep loosing track and for "some" reason that number is stuck in my head!

Thanks for all the pictures from everyone today! My favorite was Capt. who was a quick draw to show us comparisons to his impressive mod collection!!

Zen~ all I can say is wow!! Actually, I guess I can say more... Just when I thought I couldnt be more impressed... Your impecable attention to detail to make this a complete work of art as well as the most impressive PV any of us have ever seen (and for some of the Febbers, ever vaped) is stunning. Sure, you could have said just slap a magnet on it and no one would have thought twice. But staying true to everything you stand for, you created a flawless, seamless, way for the standard to natively take both the 1600mah and 2000mah! I am not surprised, but I am blown away!!

As much of a suck up as I know I must sound right now, I just needed to say this because I am floored and have not even seen this in person!
