My guess is it's a hit or miss on the AFC DTs. Both of mine fit perfectly. For once, I got lucky.I LOVE that DT too. It works great. Like shai said before, there is a tendency for condensation to build up in it, so it needs to be blown out occasionally, but it works great otherwise.
It must be hit or miss, because mine, like Eastman and others, is a miss. It will fit, when I get it turned down.
I know at some point I will probably crack a tank.
that being said, I am SO glad for the fused quartz. I was one of the early ones to bring it up, and at that time, it was not a possibility.
I am so glad it is. I feel safer with the quartz. I am not a huge fan of plastic. I will probably get the SS when they are available however.

Vickie, the spacer is already installed. It's a very small collar that is on the screw (covering a few of the threads) in the switch. It is definitely "loseable" so be careful when you check for it.

Are you talking about the screw spacer That tiny little spacer under the screw? I found that. I removed it, put the switch back together without it and it didn't work without it, so I put it back.
I thought Mr. P was asking about a spacer to fill the gap when using a 2000 mAh battery? If you look at the pics I posted you will see the small gap between the gnarled piece and the body...where the battery goes. There's a small space because of the longer 2000 mAh battery I'm using.
Am I doing something wrong? Are you using a 2000 mAh battery without the gap at the button?

I have surgery coming up and am praying I get it before then. I can't think of anything better than vaping between nodding out on morphine while getting a massage from a hot (or not, but I'm hoping) nurse.
Watch out sinnyc, if I don't get it in time that noise you hear at 3am, clomp, clomp, draaaaag, is me on crutches dragging my bloody stump to steal your Zenesis!

I thought there was something mentioned about a spacer a few hundred posts ago about the battery different sizes? I don't know maybe I am thinking of something else, there are soooooooo many posts in this thread and they are all starting to run together now.
I don't recall that, but it doesn't mean you didn't read it here.
All I remember is the discussion about whether the 2000 mAh battery would fit/work or not.
he came up with a different alternative to the spacer just recently which is the inside spacer instead of one by the battery
