Well EmpireMods will exchange them for me, They are back on my nice list :D Dunno about Nhaler though. Honestly the batteries never touched anything other then the pila charger.well and the inputs on the multimeter. Well EmpireMod were my batteries for my zenesis, so I am no where near as freaked out as I was.

Nhaler sent me an atomizer instead of a drip shield the first time I ordered anything from them. I phoned them, and the CS was exceptional and within 2 minutes I was told it would get sent to me. Two days later I got it, no hassle...and a free atomizer too.

OK... I'm getting frustrated here, and I have to ask for some help!

First, I need to say that lists are a pain in the back-side... The reason for this is that I have your screen name and order number on the list. I do not have your real names in almost every case.

When payment was made I asked for shipping info and everybody that paid with credit cards got that right... byt the Paypal stuff has become a nightmare to reconcile everything. Yes, many of you sent me shipping info, but if the order number wasnt put on the paypal info I can't match the two... but the bigger problem is that I can't easily search my PM inbox looking for the exact info I need...

SOOOOO... after spending two hours on this already today, I don't have enough information to ship a few of the PVs that are ready to roll... it's frustrating!

I am going to ask EVERYBODY ON THE FEBRUARY LIST that has not received a shipping notification to PLEASE send me ONE PM with your ORDER NUMBER and your SHIPPING ADDRESS, and that will HOPEFULLY make this easy enough to get this done.

Please send this PM even if you know that you already sent it prior to this.

This part of the process has been a nightmare!

Thanks everybody!

PM sent.
I'm so sorry this has been such a nightmare for you. As disorganized as I can be, I cannot imagine how much trouble this has been for you. Know that you have a group of very grateful Zenfidels who truly appreciate all of the hard work you have put into this process. :)

Efff... I know a few pages back someone asked about using Bobas in the Zenesis, and I went to look back cause I thought I missed the answer...I've been drinking so turning to the zenfidels for a hand....I use mostly high vg juices (some 50/50, but most is at 70 or 100 vg) and just wondering if I should look into buying mesh in sizes other than 400 or 325, is there a 300 or 275 that would be better for these high vg juices...Im just hesitant to "water down" my juice just to get it to wixk

What r u planning on doing karma?

I wasn't loving the 400x400 even with 70/30 PG/VG so I made a 325x325 and have started breaking it in with AVE's Gorilla Juice. It's flowing well - significantly better than the 400 mentioned above so give that a try bumpi.

Caveat to this: I just started breaking in the wick so the flow may change as it burns in.

sad to hear..... im actually kind of shocked that it broke

... I just feel bad for you.

I know Ill do that ........ maybe I should order more spares one might not be enough ???

Van that really stinks, r u one of the lucky ones that has a backup zenesis? ...

... All of the clear tubing is breakable given the right conditions. Sometimes it's how it hit and not how far or onto what.

OH man that sucks big time, I am so sorry for you. I think I should order a few replacements, I am a clutz. I am shocked that it broke also, but if fused quartz hits at the right angle to take advantage of the structural weakness it will crack. I tried to visualize the fall and if it happened with anywhere near the scarey slow motion effect that is playing thru my head, that must have been one of the longest moments of your life............

well Van, sorry that it happened bud, but I have to believe that it was a fluke that your tube cracked.....fused quarts is tougher than pyrex, and I can guarantee that Zen~ had already tested samples for just that type of thing happening otherwise he wouldn't have used it......

I agree Shaitaan, it had to be an extremely unlucky hit on the exact angle to crack it

Ok, I had a good rest and took some time away to think of things other than my recent run of really bad luck with PV's!

Now I'm back and I brought my smile :) with me!

1st - Thanks for the commiserations guys, it helped!

2nd - I have to agree it had to be a weird fluke, a 1 in a million thing - it landed flat, like a belly flop - which I would have thought would have been the ideal 'oh thank you, thank you' landing!

How it cracked, or what made it crack, I have no idea (did I mention I've had like a 4 month streak of really, really lousy luck with PV problems... yes, I think I did) .. so ... moving on.

I mentioned this earlier in the thread, but will mention it again.

In the group, I have set up a thread that is specifically for issues that you want Zen to know about.

It gives him one specific place to see and answer your questions. Please post them there.

This main thread moves so fast because everyone is jibber-jabbering (I am not sure who that would be exactly  :p)

Me is that was lost on anyone!

Please try to post there. He has already visited and seen it.

Just trying to make his life easier for a change (a reference to me again if is was too sarcastic a comment :))

... So, this weekend I will machine up some polycarbonate tubing for tanks and make it available for folks that are prone to dropping things.

I will put the stainless tube BACK on the list of things to do and get them in out the next month for folks that vape juices that will damage the Polycarbonate.

It has become clear that options need to be available, so options will happen.

Van, shoot me a PM with your address so I don't have to look it up and I'll get a poly tank out to you tomorrow, or a replacement quartz one if you want to give that another try.

Thanks Zen, I appreciate that ... and I will take you up on the offer - will send you a pm in a few.

I'm not a fan of poly anything so I'll try my luck with another quartz (and once things settle down, I'll probably buy several back ups - lol). Once the stainless tubes are available I'll give at least one of them a spin around the block.

:)

Hello Zenfidels :) Mini #0050 is setup, broken in and working great. Normally I would not say anything about the minor blemishes, but Zen requested that these get reported. Mine had the machine oil in the battery compartment like some others, easily remedied with a paper towel and everything dis-assembled and treated with some noalox. The PV is performing perfectly and the coil fires up instantly now with minimal lag time to heat.

I do also have some fairly light tooling marks on the battery tube. Nothing major and I can live with it. I don't want to hit it with metal polish because I love the finish and don't want to change that :)

All-in-all it is a great design and vapes very well.

One other odd thing, does anyone else's top cap whistle when drawing on it? Mine does, i thought it might have been some metal left behind by the drill bit when the hole was made, but it looks clean and round on both sides. Just curious :)

Zenesis report card - day two of arrivals

Issue: Broken Fused Quartz Tank
What's happening: Today the first quartz tank broke after a short fall to well-padded carpet.
What I plan to do about it: Fused Quartz is really tough glass and it's Much tougher than Pyrex or Flint Glass, but it's no match for stainless steel. I will make Polycarbonate tanks available as an option for people that are likely to drop their PV. These will not be for use with juice that damages plastic. I will get stainless tanks into production as quick as I can for folks that want to vape more caustic juices and are prone to dropping. Fused Quartz will remain standard on the zenesis PV.

Issue: The Top Cap is Loose
What's happening: Many people have complained that the top cap is loose on their PV. There have been suggestions about using larger O-Rings or threading the top cap.
What I plan to do about it: Nothing. The O-Ring will swell in a couple of days and the cap will be plenty tight. On your fist few days you will see this as a problem. The problem corrects itself with a short time. I will not thread to cap, because the adjustable throat hit feature will be lost in doing so, additionally, it's not needed. I do not suggest using a larger O-Ring as a short term solution. The unit is shipped with an O-ring that has been through months of testing with good results. This is one of these cases where a little patience will go a long way.

Issue: Poor Wicking / Dry Hits
What's happening: One user had an issue with dry hits and a PM exchange took place.
What I plan to do about it: This is an issue that will be addressed in the Instructional video that will be filmed this weekend.

This was a rough day in Zenesis land. The first broken tank is dissapointing, and the paranoia associated with it has caused at least one owner to humiliate his PV by forcing it to wear a full body condom. I feel bad for it.

I also need to thicken my skin a bit... I don't enjoy seeing normal break-in period items presented as problems... Such as the O-ring on the cap.

Sorting through the shipping issues has been a problem. Today I had more PVs to ship than I had workable information and it caused things to come to a screeching hault while I gathered the info... I barely made it to the Post Office today.

Tonight I went down to the workshop to finish up more PVs so I can get more shipping done tomorrow. I was down there for ten minutes when I received notification that I have to fly to DC on a 6am flight for an 11:00 AM meeting in Arlington. It's my day gig... I have to go... I'll be back at 10 tomorrow night... Nothing will ship tomorrow.

I'll spend the weekend finishing up February orders and get rolling on March on Monday Night.

Sorry to dissapoint, yet again.

I'm heading to bed... Early flight means early to the airport.

Yup, a faint, very slight whistling that doesn't happen every time. My Go-go does that too as do certain cartos I've used. I think it's just the result of a small aperture having a lot of air drawn through it. I hardly notice it now.
