So for clarity, the switch fix/redesign is for BOTH the standard and MINI? I have seen it mentioned that it was only for the standard a few times, and TCOLLEY has a MINI as do I. So we are ALL getting new switches and poly tanks... of course I will return the part...

Ecitek... are you rolling your own coils or using the supplied ones at this moment?

Could my wicking issue also be that I have the wrong wick installed? I hate to go to all the trouble of changing it only to find it makes matters worse. I did try removing a 1/4 inch section from my wick already and that did not help at all. Any input here would be great. Thanks guys.

Watch the video... install a new wick based on the instructions and see what you get.

This is the "Coil Basics" video... let's all get on the same page with the basic skills first... then I will do the advanced coils next week. Later tonight I'm going to post a Standard Switch Temp Quick Fix video to hold you over until the new switch buttons arrive. The footage is taped for the switch fix, I just need to edit it.

Actually I am just waiting for Zen to see this - I have been posting about it for a while and I am not really in the mood to explain it to yet another person.

Hey, the point of this thread is to help each other out...if you only wanna talk to zen, email him and I'm sure he will get back to you when he can...maybe you can FaceTime or skype it out with him, in the meantime you can work with other people who may have more experience and knowledge to try and get to a solution....the advice here is free, so take a bunch of it and see what you wanna keep throw the rest out, it won't cost you anything....

On a side note if you really Zen's advice you should try and follow it, he built it with a hole that he wanted always open...you jammed a toothpick in it, I'm just saying its more than likely not the PV since all other people have made adjustments to get to happy vaping, that is unless you got the one and only runt of the litter...if you think that's the case you can always send it to OB, I'm sure he'll test it for ya.

Don't take this the wrong way, I wish you the best and a great vape, but It's a new device be patient and try a few things differently from what you are doing....give another one of Zen's wicks a shot...cut down variables and I'll bet u will have a lightbulb moment

He said he rolled his own wick and made new coil....he posted a pic and it looked like the wick was still shiny metal, not blackish like most other pics, I'll try and find it to bring up here

But the wire on the positive post is on backwards ...... cant see but the neg side may be too

your wick and coil still look new .. I think your mod it not getting hot enough to heat the coil up to burn the juice fast enough. also your coil is not wrapped like the video redo it.

I am still waiting for a fix for flooding. This thing is leaking all over the place including onto my hands. I have tried everything and no success and it's just getting a little old. I am way past frustration. Different coil wrap, tighter cap seal, 1/2 fill, plug, etc etc etc. Nothing works. I am going to have to go back to my bottom feeder until this gets fixed.

Yea I know seeing it fire would help give more info on the cause but zen asked if he was rolling his own, or using the pre rolled so thought I'd at least clarify that part for him

Why not send it back to zen for the fix. Im sure that if he cant fix it he will test another device to make sure it is working and send it to you.He will make it right and if he dosnt PM me and i will buy it for what you paid for it and pay for the postage it cost you.

Thanks Zen!! Even "I" should be able to follow that, you made it look so simple.

When you get time, can you make a video of how to take the tank off and back on. Twist? Pull? Twist and Pull? How to clean the Mod itself, and the tank and anything else that needs a cleaning... (I'm still intimidated a little bit... ) Thanks!

I posted pics as requested in the Group - here are pics firing - it hits pretty damn good. The wire is attached clockwise on both posts. Wick looks like it is touching the post but it is not.

It was after he set up because someone asked him too. And yea I believe it was pointed out he set it up wrong, but he was mad and fustrated at the time and went to sleep, ever since there has been no real getting thru to him. He is just to mad to talk to anyone other the zen~

And you guys are all repeating things that have been said directly to him that he got mad and ignored, you can't say it again to him it is inconveniant LMFAO....

You don't have a clue so let it go.
