Very nicely put Zen. And the reply to my post about dual coils was exactly what I'd hoped for thanks!
The best mod makers that are good enough to sell their wares to those of us looking for something beyond mass produced inexpensive Chinese wares (and nothing against those products for people that use and enjoy them), will interact and communicate with his or her customers. Issues such as safety, performance, maintenance, etc., are discussed and information and ideas are exchanged in a most helpful and rewarding fashion. Forums are wonderful tools for facilitating those interactions. It makes it pretty easy for a consumer to weed out a seller that is more interested in sales and profits from sellers that take pride in their product and want each customer to have the best experience possible with that product.
As a consumer and individual, I don't need ECF guidelines to insure my PV's of choice don't aspolde inna mah face, but I see what they're trying to accomplish. I have other thoughts and opinions on the subject, but shan't disrespect the Den of Zen by spouting them here.

Zen I think if you log out you can view the threads in question as a guest, may be wrong but figured I'd throw it out there if you wanna check it out for yourself... However they do say it doesn't start till June so I'm hoping to get a slotless march zenesis, please do not send them back to machine shop first. Lol my atties are killing me right now

In an attempt to get things back on the zenesis track:
I. Read the zen alert that tentatively the marchers will start to ship on the 22nd, which means if I am part of the batch that ships then I should be ok, but I will be in Chicago on the 30th, so if I am a Lil farther down the list, or there are any setbacks, would it be possible for you to just bring some of ours to vapebashfest so it's not sitting in my mailbox while I'm at my first vape meet..... I wanna proudly show that baby off

Rolygate stated in that interview that is causing so much commotion that the ECF was not forcing anyone to do anything. It is a "guideline" not a "requirement." Although his original post does not read that way. The whole thing is messed up in many ways on both sides.

The 510 connector is especially bad...
801s and 901s(808) are close behind, but not nearly as unsafe. It seems they use higher quality insulators in most of the 801/901/808 style.
LR Dual coil cartos should be placed on notice as well... it's not just the Low Resistance... it's the low resistance with the ability to actually turn the current into heat without burning out like a fuse.

I hope you are not saying that we have to wear a helmet while vaping. Or maybe even ATGATT? (heh heh)
I usually wear a full-face helmet and that may require that I drill a hole in the chin guard to accommodate the Mini, which may compromise the structure of the helmet. Can I just vape wearing my half-helmet with Goggles?
(I require sarcasm and laughter every day - it's part of my diet)
Does that mean I can't drip drive either just because it's unsafe? I know it's unsafe but until I'm officially told it must be ok
