I'm for keeping the thread as it is.

For a suggestion......... Why not just post the FAQ's & other important info on the House of Hybrids website then just have links to the site thereby keeping this crazy thread crazy

it would still be crazy, just a lower page and post count, i dont think zen is telling us not to have as much banter in the new thread... i was asuming he just wants to get the faq where any newb to the thread can get it quickly to free some of his time up, which is good for us all!!

zen has repeatedly said he likes the "way this thread is" and being on the first page to attract new people....but life would be easier if he wasnt getting "is the aluminum your using safe?" questions in his inbox because you (a newcomer) have to read 200 pages to see they are made of surgical steel

Being new as of yesterday I can point out my thoughts. I found out first thru YouTube, where it says pm Zen if interested. Then I googled zenesis and found all these paiges that I read. Then I found out zen had a website by reading here and saw a link that said order form. So it is a little confusing depending on how you first discover a zenesis and information about it. Depends on where you first find out. YouTube, website say order this way, which are messages. If they don't find the forum they don't know better

Regarding the PMs...

What a lot of folks don't realize is that LOTS of folks that read this thread don't post here... they send PMs asking questions and don't jump into the thread.

When they haven't seen the answer they seek by page 100 and realize there are another 700+ pages to go, they bail and ask.

That's perfectly understandable.

I should probably close this one ans start fresh with a first post that points to the FAQ , has current prices, you know... all that common sense stuff I have been avoiding.

We could even post a link to the closed thread for historical reference.

Any thoughts on that?

I am new to posting but can the post #1 be edited to include a link to the FAQ; then we could direct questions to the first post?

I'm actually not for this idea. I like the thread the way it is and love watching the page views and count go up.

You started this thread. Can't you just edit the first post or is it too late for that?

You could also change your sig to point to the FAQ too.

Just my two cents. Don't close and start new.

It would take a moderator to edit the first page, and Suppliers cannot put links of any kind in their signatures.

Is the hole lined up to be as close to the wick as possible?

Still reading all the tips, they are appreciated!
I've been turning that sucker all over the place trying different spots.
I've also tried the tips Mr White/Lorderros have posted.
I get 2 or 3 good to ok hits then dry ones.

I'm still using the same wick/coil that came pre-installed.

Just moved the hole to line up with the wick. I have noticed that the further away it is, the less vapor.
Much better vapor this way.
Flavor still isn't really there.
I also opened up the top of the mesh some, so it wasn't pinched closed.

Still the same though, a few good hits then dry.
I'm not giving up, and I'm not losing patience.
It's a system that's new to me, and even though I didn't build the wick/coil,
I'm still pretty sure there's a step or something I've missed somewhere.

Perhaps you could shoot another you tube video that has links in the description. People interested would see the more recent video showing off the zenisis and a link to the newly opened website. And also forum link for general questions about product that might not be shown in the video.

hmmm... do you vape your zenisis all the time or just here and there. I ask because it could be that the wick has not completely broken in yet. You could also try the tape over the hole in the cap and poking a smaller hole in it. Your vaping style might not be drawing enough liquid up the wick so a smaller air hole might be what you need and the tape method is recommended to test since if that does not help then you may not want to permanently mod your cap.

just a few suggestions :)

Here are some pics showing what someone on here mentioned earlier about breaking in your wicks:

Turn your Zenesis upside down and you will see air bubbles start in the filler hole. Air must go in for the juice to come out or you create a vacuum. You want a siphon affect.

You will then see your juice start to drop from the end of your wick, your wick is totally saturated now.

Push the button and start seasoning your wick, do this several times.

Worked great for me, no problems and I can fog up my kitchen.

I'm happy to report that this thread has made a lot of strangers friends, so welcome to the strangest group of friends you will ever have. :toast:

Ty. I've enjoyed my one day with the cool innovative group. Learned a TON already don't even have my hands on one yet. I would love to retire these 510's. Two and a half years of 510 use.
