i made my own wick.... i could not for the life of me get zen's wick to wick without cutting it down and now it hits like a dream.
i made my wick a little over half as thick and it still fits in snug just more of a straw instead of so tightly wound. i couldn't be happier

Can someone describe my Standard for me please, I've forgotten the details lol. Which grade of Stainless Steel? Surgical SS? Time to reread the thread perhaps...

So let me tell you about this zenesis. As you may know, I have been vaping some pretty strong stuff. And there would be no way of fully getting the flavor out if a carto/atty. Well I decided I wanted to swap flavors to a very clean champagne juice.

So I disassembled the tank and gave the tank, inside and out, a quick rinse under running water (be sure to remove battery first). Dried off everything, dry burned and reassembled. Filled and vaped.

Result- nothing but pure, clean champagne. No black licorice flavor.

It only took about 5mins. So, incase you didn't know, changing juice is easy and flavor transfer is practically non existent.

Do I hear a cleaning tutorial in the works? How to take it apart, clean it, dry it, put it back together, prep the wick, ...

i just take off tank rinse, put it back together and vape. but mostly i just suck as much juice out when i want to change flavors and just fill.. ive gone from menthol to light blends with very little flavor retention

we aren't restricted like zen is... he can't do or say much of anything outside this thread concerning his product. but it is better to point to this thread or to zen himself as the website "doesn't exist yet" that still hasn't stopped me from having it in my sig. anything to spread the word of this wonderful device

Some thoughts on the first 100 zenesis PVs...

Through design changes and delays... And a few hiccups out of the starting gate with machine oil, blemishes and glitchy switches... There have been relatively few people with problems. There have been some, for sure... But the more that ship without issue the lower that percentage rate of issues will drop!

We are now well under 10% that have had issues, and most issues have been rectified, and/or there is a solution on the way.

That being said... This has been one crazy thrill ride!

To the Zenfidels... You folks rock! What a wonderfully diverse group of people!

To the folks waiting on PVs for march... We start shipping later this week. The febbies did the shakedown cruise... And you guys get to experience what we ALL CREATED TOGETHER! When the marchies get into the hands of some of you that are new to mesh/coil... DO NOT GET FRUSTRATED... Go slow... Take your time... And when in doubt post in the user group... We have a really dynamic knowledge base here with several mesh/coil mavens and dozens upon dozens of up and comers.

Proof of concept is over...

The comments I'm getting from people about performance are incredible... The Zenesis is a full blown force to be reconned with!

Here are some comments I have compiled from here and other sources.

Instead of "Zenesis APV's Available at House of Hybrids"... I would find it far more esthetically pleasing to simply have it say "houseofhybrids.com" without the "Zenesis APV's Available at"

T-shirts are cool... walking billboards... not so much

what you say goes zen, but I thought the whole ".com"thing was more billboardish when i had it on there... How about just "House of Hybrids" like in your sig? possibly with the Advanced & Rebuildable Personal Vaporizers as well? ill go with the "HouseofHybrids.com" if you think thats best though...ill wait to hear back before i change all of them again tho, i had to redo all of them 2x already. lol

Don't need to change the wick/coil anytime soon.
Told y'all I was stubborn..... few more hours today and it's just fine.
I'm chain vaping just to see if it's still holding up, and it's going like a champ.

I am using vg on the wick and wire #33 came with. Monster hits holding it straight out from my face, wick down.
After it sits(wobbles) a while, before hitting it, I turn it sideways, wick down, and marvel for a moment at the awesome.
3 or 4 huge hits, slight pauses to savor everything, a couple more and give it a break. Moderation is the prime path of zen.

That and avoidance of nic overdose, lol

On the thread issue

No matter what there will always be the need to answer already answered questions. "That Guy" always finds a way. This is fine.

The very large threads on this forum pull a lot of people in just because they are established and get traffic. People cruising around see them strong and drop in to see what the deal is. If you read through those threads the members are very helpful. In the long run it will probably be to Zen's advantage to keep growing the thread.

To help with the information problems having a mod update the first post is a good start.

Making sure we help answer all questions in the thread is key, don't be a jerk about it! Pay your knowledge forward.

Links to the faq...... Everywhere!

Wiki's are cool.
As Zen has said the website isn't done. When it is, combined with no lists, the type craziness we have now will be different. Less OMG WHERE WHEN HOW MY STUFF!!! and more Whats up Zen's sleeve next.
