are the dimensions you gave the length and width? In US measurements?

do people draw much slower on there than on traditional attys?

what are the main things that will throw the setup off? The mesh or the coil?

I have watched the video on sorting out shorts, but what happens when someone cannot get them all firing at the same time all the time?

Inches are US measurements usually... I gave the width... The length is about 2" for a standard, but I make the, all that length and trim them...

First and foremost, shorting of the mesh to the body creates problems you won't solve until the shorts are cleared... A short to the top screw or top cap often goes undetected... A short to the bottom of the tank nearly always go unnoticed until you're at wits end.

To answer the question about what goes wrong... If the coil isn't firing evenly, and you're using a wick I rolled... The shorts are caused by the coil... You can't possibly oxidize the mesh more than I have done. And what if you can't get them firing evenly? Well.. I can always get them firing evenly, so the key is to sit back... Pour a beer.... Fire the atty and poke at it until you see the coil come to life... If the lead in wires are glowing bright and the coil is dead, and there isn't any body shorts... Here's a hint... The wire glows up to the short... Then is dead... Then is bright again after the short. Poke at the spot where the wire goes dark... And by poke, I mean slide the coil wire up and down with a toothpick... I use my syringe needle, but a toothpick is better for noobs because it won't create shorts of its own... There is ALWAYS a short where the wire stops glowing bright and goes dark.

Ok serious question:
I am getting on a plane from ny to Chicago and do not plan on checking a bag, how much juice can I bring on the plane I'm my carry on? How much in a checked bag?(thinking on the way back, :) )

3 oz of liquid TOTAL in a 1 quart bag... Mouthwash, shampoo, Gels... However, checked baggage is unlimited

Really? For quoting a great review of a great product in the supplier's thread of said product?

Now if I pointed people to the vaporwall for his full review that might be different.

it isnt because of the review...its because K was banned, and ALL of his posts were deleted by the powers that be....

1: A little... The better you get at making coils and sorting out shorts, the faster they come up to speed.

2: Around 13/16" for me... And the first round that I shipped were roughly that size... The ones I shipped yesterday have been reduced to 9/16" and that's where they will remain... They will swell up as they ship and will still need to be rolled down a bit to fit in the hole.

3: it's a funny thing... When I got my first mesh/coil atty it took me a few weeks to get the flavor right... It was a combination of not getting the coil perfect and getting used to the MUCH lighter draw that device had... And the draw on THAT was way more open than the zenesis is. But once I had it dialed in...every mesh and cool I put on it was up to speed in hours. So while the really unsatisfying answer is "your mileage may vary" the real fact is that it will vary with experience... When you get it right... And you will get it right... The vape is satisfying pretty quickly. If the flavor is off... It's probably the setup.

The most frustrating thing about shipping built attys is the vibration of shipping knocks em out of whack... And if the PV is being shipped to a newcomer to mesh/coil, they don't know how to do ten seconds worth of adjusting to get it back to correct.., instead it's hours or even weeks of learning curve... This of course is something I recently learned, being the first person to ship setup mesh/coil hybrids... The reality is that every PV is shipped with a PERFECT coil and mesh... Shipping does them in, and I could get them perfect again in less than a minute... But the only way to learn is to do... It's good for your growth as a Zenfidel!

ob, quetion #3 is all going to be dependant on your setup.... how many wraps, the wick used, your juice AND how much you really vape....

its the width...you end up cutting it to the correct length AFTER it's installed anyways...and that part is easy to figure out.....measure one bro, does everyone have to figure it out for ya? ;)

ummmm......no. Zen~ just said he would... it wasn't promised, and definitely not owed...he doesnt have to give anyone a single hint at all until right before release, really...he's just being the master zenfidel, egging the hell outta you with those tiny tiny teasers... he's making it even worse on purpose, making you crazier than before the hints...you'll never figure it out until he finally tells you all about it anyways

spoken like someone who has:
1) been before the master
2) challenged him
3) got his ... kicked
4) drove home frustrated

not a judgement.... simply an observation.... just sayin'...

Jeez Shai... Who took a dump in your wheaties last night?

Had you considered that he doesn't have one to measure yet? Lol

His will arrive today like many others and he's arming himself with information so it can be smooth sailing! And in case you didn't notice, the rather contrived appearing Q and A between he and I could have possibly been a little well planned theatre to act as a refresher so when people start getting their PVs today the setup info is close at hand in the thread in a more condensed and concise format than spread out through the thread!

In either case... Let's not jump down his throat... That's not the kind of throat hit ANYBODY likes!

Actually... It was spoken like a person that has hung out with me and
1) Been a confidante regarding several design aspects of the dragon
2) Provided valuable input regarding some of the design features
3) Been a beta tester on a prior product that's coming out
4) Performed valuable market research and business intelligence on behalf of the product.

Shai knows more about the project than any other living soul, and he's been critical of me releasing as much information as I have... And he's right... Some of the information I released is starting to appear in another designers product... Can't tell if it's coincidence or it served as inspiration, but it's there and it has given me reason for pause regarding the hints.
