I cracked my sole Zenesis quartz tank! It cracked when it tipped an fell on my wooden table. An entire vertical strip cracked and separated from the tank. So I guess I am out of Zenland for a whileSeems like my Genesis journey is a long one which just got paused as my Zenesis was my only alternative to expensive atties or horrible cartos.
Does anyone know if Zen has any available spare tanks yet?
The Zenesis is a one piece design so it is impossible to take apart. To remove the kick, just get a long thin needle-nose pliers and grab the kick by the positive post then pull it out![]()
Actually it is not impossible to take apart unless the standard is built different then my mini in that regards. However, it will be nearly impossible for you with a kick blocking the allen head which is the positive terminal and holding the tank section onto the battery tube. As suggested, long needle nose or tweezers to grab it.
someone has to have a pic of vic to post
she conveniently left herself out of them![]()

If Amazon.com ships to India, this is the polycarbonate tubing I bought:
Clear Polycarbonate Tubing, 3/4" ID, 7/8" OD, 1/16" Wall, 3' Length
You will need 3/4" dowel rod to support it as you cut it:
Amazon sellers sell that too if you can't find any locally.
Here's the tubing cutter I used:
Ridgid 40617 1/4-Inch to 1-1/8-Inch Close Quarters Tubing Cutter
View attachment 88722
Cut a bunch of these and you will never be without a tank if the quartz should break.
The correct tubing size is 3/4 ID and 7/8 0D
Mini is: 1" tall (febbies are 1 1/16")
Standard is: 1 5/16" tall (so are febbies)
