Two questions....

One.....what did you all think of the shirt??

Two......how in the  do you get the magnet out of the bottom?? From reading the FAQs, taking the bottom out and replacing it with one of the little ones so you have one thin one up top, and one on bottom...makes it medium throw, right? If you split the top magnets...do you add a washer?

I like the t-shirt! They turned out nice.

I just used my fingernail to get the magnets out and then slid them apart. Yes, you have it correct about the medium resistance. I THINK the washer is for low resistance only.

The only blue county in Texas!
You don't have to add a washer... that just makes it hit the battery sooner. For medium you keep all of the magnets in the switch... and... if I remember correctly, flip one? Or switch the middle one with the top one? I did it, and if I can do it, anybody can do it. Oh - and I think I pulled the magnet out with the screwdriver...

No need to explain yourself. "Just rock out, with your Zen out!" I just made that up. I'll take the credit LOL!
Thanks!

I felt that though that is a warn out phrase.....it was very appropriate for the Zenesis! :)

If "where's the beef" can make a come back.....so can that! ;)

You DON'T take out the bottom thicker magnet. Depending on how slow you take apart the switch, one of the thinner ones might jump down to the bottom. You want the one thicker one in bottom, with one thin one attached/attracted on top. Then you put the other thin one on top repelling away....then put the switch housing back over it (medium tension) And screw back in. If you want smaller throw distance, (still medium tension) you put the one washer over the screw before you screw it back together, after housing is back on.

And....LOVE the shirts. Wish I had gotten one..

I was going to make a video about switch adjustments... But have not had the time... So try to follow along.

This applies to marchies with the new switch ONLY...

I REPEAT... THIS IS NOT INFO FOR FEBBIES UNTIL YOU HAVE A NEW SWITCH.

Marchies... Your switch has adjustable tension... And it is shipped at maximum tension.

There are three settings...

So how do you adjust it?

Hold the switch in your hand with the screw facing up.

Depress the button and using a Phillips head screwdriver remove the screw.... It may be tight, but it will come out... Once the screw is loose SLOWLY separate the switch button from the housing... Slowly... The top magnets will flip over and go to the bottom magnet if you're moving slowly.

You will see that there are two thin magnets from the top, and there is a single thicker magnet in the button... Don't remove that... It stays right there.

Now... If you want minimum tension slide one of the thin magnets off the other and put that magnet aside... Don't lose it!

If you want medium tension put that magnet on the bottom button magnet so they attract to each other.

Now, for both medium and low tension, put the single thin magnet on the post so it is being repelled from the bottom magnet(s).

CAREFULLY SLIDE THE SWITCH HOUSING OVER THE POST... SLIDE IT DOWN AND REPLACE THE SCREW.

Try your new setting!

If you want to make it so you don't have to push the button as far to make it fire... Remove the screw again while holding the switch assembly together... There are two stainless washers in your kit... Put ONE of them on the screw and replace it. Do not put two washers on there... One is a spare in case you lose the first one.

Remember to get that screw in tight!

If you are not sure of these instructions... Don't do this until I post a video next week.

If these instructions make sense, go for it!

To get the magnet out of the bottom, just touch it with a screwdriver and pull it out. It sticks to the screwdriver harder than the base ;).

The washer goes under the screw head I believe. I have mine set with one small on top and the big one on the bottom and a thick washer under the screw head. To me it's perfect but may not work the same for everyone because I kept the original switch and just got the upgraded magnets myself so I have spares if ever needed and for experiments :)

to make it low resistance leave the bottom magnet where it is ( you do that for all of them)

You leave one of the small magnets in the top (with opposing power)

You put it together without the washer.

that is it.

you can put the washer under the screw but do not have to. I am not sure why this is better.

Thanks everyone....got it figured out! :)

I like the security of the full tension...the ease of light tension....but have it set to medium. Now I just have to make or find something that will slide between the button and the switch housing so it can't fire in my pocket. Probably gonna make a clip from a scrap piece of poly tubing that will slide in by cutting a small section out of one side so it looks like a C.
