after aging my black and mild juice for a few days the taste is oddly familiar. tastes very similar to the base of bobba's bounty and gorilla juice. i'm a few mixes away from recreating bobba's. could this be true? the impossible becomming possible? if it is i will in no way share the recipie so don't ask!

but vic don't you taste it in the black and mild flavor? it's very close have both the b&m and bobbas sitting next to me and it is uncanny. even the smell is close(of coarse the bobba's has other things in it, most notably for me a hint of raisin)

I haven't tried Boba's for about a year. I didn't like it...gave mine to Shai. I would have to have a side by side comparison to say if they are close. :) I believe you when you say they are. :) Have you tried adding your raisin to the B&M yet?

no vic but i have raisin that i bought specifically to try and recreate bobba's but i could not figure out a base. some specualtions were the use of molasses(which i do not have) as a key component but the tobb was an enigma to me. this flavor at first tasted choclatey to me but not after steep time. it has more of that bobba's molasses taste. this is the base flavor i have been searching for!

There ya go! Now you'll nail it. :) Once you get raisin in it, you'll probably be able to decipher the other flavors....if there's more than just raisin in it.

What are you using to test your mixtures, NIN? Boba's on a 5 wrap Zen tastes completely different from a 510 which tastes completely different from a 306 which tastes completely different from a carto. (although I find a 4 wrap Zen tastes quite similar to a 306)

YMMV. Taste being subjective and all. ;)
