Oh no!! Sounds like one less spot on the list I wanna be on! Zen, plz pm me if there are less than 3 spots left, I want one just waiting till last pay period possible to pull trigger...that reminds me I have 2 years of house parties worth of cans and bottles in my garage to cash in and a trip to the coinstar I have to make on my next day off.....
Edit: Actually I just decided that tomorrow I will be putting my akimbo otter box mod on the classies (feel free to check it out, maybe even give a brotha a bump) and def will be pulling this TI trigger, I don't care if I have to ..... myself out to housewives. Will=Way

haha I'm idiot #2. Knew I should have checked this thread before offering anything. I was clouded a bit in judgement I think, as I just returned from Viva weekend in Las Vegas. I came out over $800 up on the tables, and decided that a standard and mini would be mine! Really I didn't think it through that the seller would be making more that the Zen Master himself. If he contacts me back, I'll have to politely decline. Even if I gotta wait, I think preordering the titanium Zen is more my speed anyway.Thanks for bringing me back down to earth, everyone!

Oh man, I missed your post in that thread- I think it was already deleted. I really hope they don't ban you. It seems odd to me that you cannot post if something is a bad deal for whatever reason. How else will newer folks- and folks just in from Vegas lol- know when they are getting taken for a ride. Seems like the mods would have a bit less work if we could police the sale forum ourselves a bit more. Safe travels and hope to see you on the forums soon!

I might get banned now, because I had to let them know how dumb it was for me to get that, yet people can sell on the classifieds for a profit higher than the maker, and not have to pay the fees to be a suppliers....which is what that makes them by their own rules.

it really is sad to say, some of the peeps posting in the classifieds, technically are 'dealers'.... they buy up what they can and then sell it back at exuberant prices....and don't get banned for it.... it's not the same as buying and using it for a while, then finding out you dont like it and resell it at a reasonable cost to someone that really wants the item... I've made my comments more than once about gouging, and wont be the last... but I will try to make them non-offensive as I do not want to be banned for what i have to say
I USED to really like my GG's.....the idea behind them were awesome, BUT, I personally think there's a cr@p ton of stuff that could've/should've been done differently...and there's way too much 'slop' in the threading of them... I'm half tempted to sell off my remaining GGTS and ask Zen~ to trade the z-atty-g for a pro instead and be done with it... already one of my GG's is sold, my ody will be going next...then it's another stealth w/ extra parts, and an iatty to go after that... would I sell any of it for a much higher price? hell no unless it was offered....I will sell it all off for the price that's lower than purchased...and they aren't even worth that much in my eyes

no different than using it in a standard....unless you have a way to remove it for readjustments or plain taking it out, good luck with it...
Ferrari red Zenesis with Italian racing stripes. I'll model the Zen dragon logo tomorrow after class and wrap it around the APV for an even cooler finish. I'm not sure why the image links re-size the image so small, so I've included the normal link too.

As much as I want a standard Zenesis right now, there's no way I'd purchase the one in the classys. Soon, Zen will have them ready to go, and if I'm going to give someone a $100 plus tip, it will be Zen!
Someone mentioned supply and demand in regards to inflated prices. There's another word that comes to mind in describing what is happening there, it's called scalping.
I did see the coils on that Zenesis too, no wonder it never worked right. The top coil is too loose, it's not touching the wick in places and I believe, (not wearing my glasses) the coil on top, the wire is run back through the loop. Too bad they didn't put a picture of that here, it would have helped in regards to what was causing the issues with their Zenesis and it could have been easily fixed for them.

Then you're not being fair to the people who have purchased at that level and are in fact devaluing their mods, would you sell a Shelby at the 1960's list price? This is a .com here, it is for commercial purposes and I think it hypocritical not to respect the law of supply & demand, especially on a country founded on that principle.......

I had contact with Yeti. I'd sent him magnets and PMed him a few times trying to help him out. He got quiet. I imagined he'd already moved his Standard. After seeing the photos, it's clear that he was having issues that would not be resolved any time soon. To put it another way, I think that particular Standard had issues behind the button.
As for the discussion on the market--no system is perfect, but I prefer to let the market manage itself as much as possible as far as values are concerned. Supporting this community is admirable. There's a place for that, and it's called PIF. You want to sell stuff, there's the Classifieds, and I think you have the right to ask what you want for your stuff. Any one buyer asking a particular price and getting it does not a market make. You have to look at the whole, and that's where things get more interesting.
I think the more telling thing is how few Zenesis have hit the Classies at all. The Febbers were more likely to bail, as the knowledge base was being created while we learned to use our APVs, and the reputation of the Zenesis had yet to be established. Today, it's a whole different ball game, and it bodes well for Zen~ and his future plans.

It may be complicated, but it definitely has aesthetic appeal.
