I'd have to see it first!

I was talking to my girlfriend this morning about the black diamond chrome edition. She told me that if I bought it she would be mad at me. She said she wouldn't talk to me for, I quote "...like a day." Personally I look forward to the peace and quiet.

Unscrew your switch, remove the screw, SLOWLY separate the two pieces. The end of the switch has a large magnet. that is NEVER removed. The other end has two smaller magnets. To make it a medium resistance, take one of those smaller magnets and put it on the large magnet at the bottom. Screw it back together.

If you want a low resistance, remove one of the smaller magnets completely and screw it back together. Just make sure when you put the smaller magnet back in, it's resisting the larger magnet in the bottom of the switch.

on edit: Let me add, I have both of my Zenesises set at low resistance and it's PERFECT. No effort at all to push the switch.

Edit AGAIN! I just remembered...yours is already set to MEDIUM resistance when shipped, so REMOVE one of the smaller magnets...the one on the larger magnet and leave it off.

Edit

(thats all)

This is the first time I have been dissapointed in one of your decisions.

This is kind of a slap in the face to those of us who spent a lot of time on one of your lists.

Someone just coming to the site & ordering a APV SHOULD NOT be able to get #8.

The overall value of a Zenesis mod has just been greatly reduced.

& no, I'm not planning on selling mine

A SLAP IN THE FACE? That is so petty, You just made me angry!

Let's talk about these people I have slapped that have been on the lists...

1) The lists started with Aluminum APVs... No serials... nothing!

2) People on the Earliest list received several upgrades... BIG ONES... and at no charge. Upgrades in MATERIALS cost $$$...

3) These people that got on the lists early paid quite a bit LESS money than Marchies, and Marchies paid less than people currently pay.

4) There are probably other benefits I can come up with but it's not worth trying.

"The overall value of a Zenesis mod has just been greatly reduced."

I hate when people call it a "mod"...

I REALLY hate when people get stingy and petty.

A dozen or so numbers are out of order and I have greatly reduced the value of the PV...

Fine...

After this run there will be no more serial numbers... They are a pain in the .... anyway, everybody wants to buy #7 and #21 and their birthday... And they pout like children when I won't do it.

I'll do serials on limited stuff, the heck with numbering the production stuff... I wouldn't want to devalue your product by getting one out of order.

The truth is a number of the first parts needed some rework... I pulled them and sent them back.

Once repaired they came back I've been slipping them into orders... I figured it would be fun... but nooooooo.... somebody cares more about their PLACE IN LINE than the actual PV... It really kind of makes me sad about that. So if you're right, , the numbers are more important than the actual PV, so I will throw all the early numbers I have away... I wouldn't want to upset anybody by sending somebody an earlier number than they deserve...

You know what would have been a slap in the face? To halt production until the reworked PVs came back... THAT would have been a slap in the face.

This is the most PETTY and upsetting thing I have read in this entire thread... that I have LOWERED THE VALUE of my "MOD".

You know what... I'm STILL angry after venting...

I will sell serial #1 to my 275th customer...

That should lower the value of the "Mod"

Buy two, don't share, and you might live a life of lonely tranquility.

(Edit: Scott, fix my quote, "live a life", I hate it when I'm illiterate

Yes bragging rights,

Just look at any GG for sale, all show a SN in the ad. Even if it's not a low # that SS defines it's place in time when it was made.

If SN's were not on the PV's then not a problem, just like all the other China made stuff.

This is how I feel, if you feel differently thats your choice. We agree to disagree.

If SN's dont count ask OB to give up his #1(insert type here)

I'm Done

If you were one of the first 50, you have a serial number under 60... if you were one of the next 50, you have a serial number lower than 110...

This may be a GG Protocol, but it's not around here. I was warned this would happen, but I forgot about the true nature of man... one-upmanship is paramount.

And it's OK, there's no more serials after 210... I'm done by having zenfidels being defined by who has what number. EVERYBODY has the same Value PV...

It's idiotic.

I agree 100%!!! If I wanted to join the GG club I would have, but that's not the APV I was looking for. Zen~ cares about his customers and building the best APV out there and that's what hold the value in my mind.

The only blue county in Texas!
I would like to offer Zen~ a virtual hug and say, I love my Zenesis, regardless of number. I joke about wanting odd numbers but, in the end, doesn't make a bit of difference to me, and I like to think that most people feel the same way. If my Zenesis had no number, I'd love her just the same!

You must be joking.

The man adds value (not monetary, but esoteric) to the device by putting serial numbers on them in the first place and you're whining that he didn't sell them in your preferred order? Get out of town. That's just....wow.

Let me clue you in here. A serial number is a number that identifies a product...in a production series. It is NOT necessarily a transaction number. It doesn't actually have to be a number at all. He could have used wing dings and they still would have identified the part.

Also, a serial number holds absolutely no monetary value UNLESS it is a limited production. If it said 1 of 10, then sure. But if he makes 100,000 then exactly how much value are you losing by having 104 instead of 38? None.

Get....over....it.

I agree, I didn't mean it that way. I know Imeo and Brandon care, as I have spoke with them both. The Darwin and the GG are both great APV's. All I meant is I didn't want one if those, I just wanted a Zenesis.

Funny thing though...by doing that, you actually increase their value over time  Those who have SNs will now have one of a 210 unit limited production. I'm laughing and crying at the same time.
