geez,

I go to one torturous family dinner last night and miss the party.

I have started to DIY, but really suck at it. I have one waffle (BWB) and several from CC that I still buy because there is no way to replicate those. I would love to be able to make something in DIY that is anywhere as good as the ones I buy, but do not see that happening.

I just never had the inclination or the talent to diy so I just sold/gave away about 40 TPA flavors.
I loved what ripple made and gave me at "Bashfest" but I need at least 24 nic unless it's some WTA.
I'm wondering if I mentioned that "Pchela's Famous Five Layer" is awesome along with the "710 & Radiator Pluid" from Murdock?
I've approximately 10mls of Pluid left and five of those will go to "whoisJG"!
I guess it's time to beg Murdock for more......
I have given damned near all of it {100mls} away as "prizes" on TVN and boy is this stuff in demand!

Dont give up on the diy ob you will get better at it. Buy about 1,500 dol. worth of diy stuff and you will master it in no time at all.

You're way ahead of me at least.
A year ago I actually bought the Dawn's starter kit. It sits in the cool dark cabinet to this day. I somehow got all the stuff back into the case and haven't opened it since.
I read recipes of homemade coffee and decided to try once again.... but ... I cower.
I still freeze at the nic stores. I'm never going to be able to store nic in my freezer if I don't chill out first.
In short, I admire all you DIY'ers, even those who have yet to succeed in mixing a "great" vape. At least you mixed a vape!

Zens DIY flavoring tip of the millennium...

Mix up a batch of unflavored base in your Nic level... A bunch of it... 4-8 oz or more...

Unflavored... Got it?

Ok, now we get out a 10ml bottle and fill it half way up with the unflavored base you just made...

Forget about math... Seriously... You fail because you count... Lol

Put in a drop each of the flavors ya want to add...

One drop...

Not some percentage. One drop.

Start simple... An easy unblended flavor is best to start with.

Ok... Here comes the next part...

Vape it...

Is the flavor too strong? Add more base if it is.

Is it too weak? Add one more drop of flavor.

Most people fail at DIY because they add too much flavor. It gets nasty.

I find that making a base is best, then flavor the base.

And don't overdo the flavor.

Once you know that you put something like 2 drops of flavor into 5ml of base... Then it's easy to say that 4drops goes into 10ml... It's kinda like math, but I'd rather think of it as something else... Oh who am I kidding... It's math... But it's not percentages...

Now go mix some juice and enjoy it.

and why is this, what are they putting in the mixes or cutting it with to make them taste so good?

I don't seem to get much flavor w/achool based concentrate, maybe this is the answer?!

No flavor with alcohol based flavors? Wow, I think they are some of the best flavors. Have you tried Vaping Zone and Ecigexpress new alcohol flavors? They are pretty nice and very concentrated.

I have found that with TPA I need to use 12-15% flavoring, FlavourArt I need 8-10% flavoring and the new alcohol flavors are 3-5% flavoring.
