He could call it a "salty hot dog" and I'd still want to put it in my mouth.
Well, other people will always pick up terms for their products that they think will sell their product. Should Zen change his term every time someone else decides to adopt the same term? We'd have a new term every few weeks and it would become fluid and meaningless. I sort of see your point, I guess, but you have to draw the line somewhere.
I like APV (Awsome Personal Vaporizer)
Sure does.
Unfortunately, to the vast majority of the population it means:
2. New and not yet generally accepted.
I could argue that most vapers are using ecigs from convience stores so the Zenesis would qualify as:
2. New and not yet generally accepted.
Also, in vaping there is a typical progression that most of us likely followed. Cig style ecig -> "mod" -> rebuildable.
Zen~ is the creator of the zenesis and if he says it is an APV then it is an APV. End of story.
For the sake of discussion:
ad·vanced [ad-vanst, -vahnst]
adjective
3.
pertaining to or embodying ideas, practices, attitudes, etc., taken as being more enlightened or liberal than the standardized, established, or traditional: advanced theories of child care; the more advanced members of the artistic community.

Sounds Zen to me.![]()
Apv will not scare any one off. This community grows by leeps and bounds daily. People will buy this APV for what it will do,not for what it is called. Zen could offer 50 special minis"s and call them the yellow fin turd snapper edition and they would sell out in 10 min.Breathe in Breathe out and let zen do the heavy lifting on this one.I see that point and I'll counter with this...
The term APV is being picked up and picked up big. I see it everywhere now. We're going to start seeing every PV marketed as an APV soon. PVs with complex electronics that Zen don't like, PVs that make you think when you're using them. Zen has been telling us to forget all that. Just Vape It!
It seems to me that it's counterproductive to Zen's marketing to call it an APV.
Here we have a device that takes away all the complexity of getting a good vape and the creator of the device tells us to forget all we've learned to get a good vape out of other devices, and what's it called?....an APV.
Does it make sense? Maybe to you. To me? NO!
I'm not on a crusade, mind you. I just don't like the term, period! It's a term that scares people away rather than draw them near.
On a lighter note.....Am I gonna be the only one sportin a Z-Atty on a bolt?![]()
Nope... not for long... in fact, I'm thinking about putting Bolts on the website for Z-atty-U users... It's the cheapest way to get into the Zenesis stuff... 40 bucks for a bolt, 129.00 for a ZAU... at 169, pretty tough to beat!
