Viacom just removed a ton of channels off Directv No more comedy central!! NickJr is gone too, my daughter is gonna cry in the morning when there is no sponge bob!!!

We've been hearing about this for a week now.
My 11 year old has been comparing cable companies with the neighbor kids. LOL

Ego, sorry about that man. I bought an Apple TV and a Roku and literally told cable to go.......to hell I was watching mostly re-runs on my cable anyways. Not worth $100 of my money.

hard to find a good group to do rpg's with . the only active one going on within my group is a 20+ year d&d campaign. (i dont even know if im geek enough to jump into that game, some of the guys are larp'ers as well , they scare the hell out of me LOL) the last rpg i did was world of darkness , i think vampire. white wolf dose a great job with there stuff.

I can't use apple tv I don't think. I live on 110 acres in the middle of nowhere! There is no high speed internet available, not even wifi. I use a mifi hot spot from AT&T for internet and I only have 1 bar of reception lol. I have a wilsons repeater to boost signal on top of my house. My only options are dish network or directv. Does apple TV require high speed?

I played a TON of tabletop games for quite a few years. It's been too many years since, however. I played NERO larp for a brief period when I lived in CA, I utterly sucked at live action combat. Was heavily involved with medieval recreation for a long long time though. (sca) Though that's not quite as out there as larp. I dabbled a bit with heavy weapons combat but I'm mostly a leatherworking/blacksmithing/costuming/caligraphy type. I'm not half bad at throwing knives though I prefer shooting guns and things that go boom.
