Mine is pretty much flush & the ZAU screws on to the point you can't see any light in the gap.. I did put a couple drip tip o-rings on it to line up the wick & the button?

For the provari you'd want a ZAP, which has just been added to my wishlist since receiving my provari.
The adapter is because the center post on the provari sticks up so far and the threads dont start til 0.0840" into the connector. im new to the provari...still a lil concerned how much the center post sticks up. Maybe ill send her in and have it upgraded to V2 and have a new 510 connector put in. Gonna try a tap and die from amazon first tho.

he's got a problem with the threading of his provari. any chance someone broke a carto threading off in it pool?

When I screw a carto on it is a lil sloppy until I fully screw it down, which Ive had the same problem with my silver bullet since I first bought it and never knew it until I bought my dad a sb and his threads were top notch vs mine. I sent my sb in under warranty and had the connection changed and now it tight as :censored: Probably just worn threads on the connector tho.
I cant complain tho, I got a black chrome provari!!!!:2cool:

Well... one of the few days I didn't have my AYS wrapped in camo Duck tape. I got out of the car slipped it into my pocket and missed:facepalm:. It hit square on the button, shot the top cap straight up into the air and I almost caught it. The tank didn't break, only a tiny little nick on the button and a popped coil. So I got back in the car wrapped a new coil in the Wally-Mart parking lot and it was like it never happened.:vapor:
